Crazy how many similar sneaker stories we have being so close in age. Your Freshman year sneaker were those Flightposites , my Freshman year sneaker a year earlier were the OG Royal Foamposite's. A cool uncle who used to take me to Knicks games when i was a kid got them for a me that summer a few months before Freshman year for my birthday. Reception was a bit mixed at the time but history was on my side. Great review keep them coming.
WoW ! my fav colorway. Besides the noticeable striking colors, the quality of materials and craftsmanship seem to be top notch. It doesn't have the synthetic cheap look like most dunks. I think they should of wrapped them in special black and yellow paper with the WT logo.
Also, they do have special packaging...it's a hexagon shaped box (similar to the Clot AF1 candy box if you remember that) Guessing it's super limited but yeah it woulda been nice to see a unique box for the entire release
Great review Brian. Dope sneaker and the quality for a Dunk looks very good compared to their normally underwhelming quality. I am just not much of a Dunk person low or high , outside of the occasional SB. Even though i am a Wu Tang fan and do like the colorway , have to see if the impulse takes me or not ; but probably will pass mostly down to so many other releases I am prioritizing. But a very good Dunk, especially with the history & grail status of the OGs. Those Coraline Dunks very nice as well , quality looks good with interesting details.

Nahhh the quality looks a bit shit if im honest, the black looks strange/cheap. The lace holes are too far apart, and what is that weird black ripple ting on the back. The air jordan same colour scheme look way better.

Guess what? Nike done messed up. Biggly. (Kinda) Day they dropped. I tried submitting my payment for like 5-10 minutes. Finally went through. Shortly after i finally got the Got'Em pic. So yesterday i told my nephew to keep an eye out for UPS. They were dropped off about 3pm. 2 hours later my nephew came in the room saying, hey your shoes came. I said huh? I got them already. He said well here's a box. Opened it up it was a second pair. I was like what? So nike sent me 2. Only paid for 1. I checked my bank. Plus I don't think you can buy more than one at that time.

Yea Nike didn’t use the cheap plastic leather on these. I was overall impressed. They are great in hand

dunk leather used to be pretty thick and even though they crease pretty badly the creases look cool imho
