Lyrics: It's in the middle of the night, the hour of the wolf Oh, I can hear them call, but turn around and he's still there Can I get to Hold on to, hold on to Hold on to him I open my heart in the middle of the night Am I sleepwalking, sleepwalking Baby, keep talking and sing me your best lullaby I'm in the middle of a dream, at least that's how it feels Open all the windows and scratch out my cold black heart It rinses my cuts Asked me to hold on, hold on to Hold on to The love of a man that I hardly even know Am I sleepwalking, sleepwalking Baby, keep talking and sing me your best lullaby A new light Bright eyes A new light
She has a special place in my hart . I’m a lonely person but every time I listen to her music she give me faith one day just one day every this will be fine

New song! It fills my heart to the top! I love you Susanne Sundfør...
Amazing...her phrasing is stellar always and her voice can make a rock tear up. listened to Undercover 6 times straight and cried every time. gorgeous tone and great range and she has a great feel for knowing precisely when to go a tad lower or higher. most underrated singer-- tied with eivor-- in the world. and kudos to the arranger jan smordal--- i believe that's his name. This woman should be known worldwide.
Been a fan for several years, so I’m a bit surprised, but extremely glad, to have just now found this. If this song is a blueprint for her next album I dunno that I can wait much longer lol
I love Susanne and her voice so much but I just can't take to this song for some reason, maybe I need to listen a few more times to really appreciate it.
I highly doubt it looking at her recent album release history: 23 March 2012, 16 February 2015 and 8 September 2017. An average waiting time of about 2 years and 8 months between albums when excluding the shipping delays. It's only been 1 year and 2 months so far since Music for People in Trouble was released. Besides, 'The Sound of War', 'Reincarnation', and 'Mantra' from MFPIT were all on her setlist back in late 2015, nearly 2 years before appearing on the album. As far as I can tell, 'Sleepwalking' is the only unreleased song that's showed up on her setlist this year, supposedly first performed at a festival on June 17th 2018. It's also worth noting that she in August 2018 told Financial Times she would be releasing a live album from her MFPIT tour, recorded at her show at Barbican Centre in London. It was expected to be released 'later this year', but nothing seems to have been announced after that, so I wouldn't hold my breath. Assuming it is released sometime in early 2019, I don't see her next studio album appearing until anytime before Q1 of 2020 at the earliest. Of course these are only speculations, she rarely speaks to the media and has a tendency to keep most new tracks 'secret' ahead of a release, so it's hard to know for sure.
Winter Bird I agree with most of your analysis. Though, I think your expected average time is a bit too large if you look at TB-TSV (2 years). I assume the bigger waiting time between TSV and TLS was largely due to Susanne also producing everything by herself. And between TLS-MFPIT she was overworked. Nonetheless, the release of this song is indeed no definite indication of any album coming any time soon. For example, she performed Memorial four years before official release on TLS iirc. I totally forgot about the live MFPIT album. If that's still on board, I fully agree with a prediction of Q1/Q2 2020 - otherwise I could see something happening Q3 2019 (earliest). But yeah, we're completely in the dark about this, she hasn't even mentioned this song or performance once on her social media afaik.
@@Battlenude Sleepwalking is an original song. It was written by Susanne. Was introduced as a new song at this show, you can see her credited as the writer at 00:13 in this video. Also referred to as a newly-penned song in several concert reviews from this year such as: www.buzzmag.co.uk/festivals/susanne-sundfor-novo-amor-live-review/
Lyrics:
It's in the middle of the night, the hour of the wolf
Oh, I can hear them call, but turn around and he's still there
Can I get to
Hold on to, hold on to
Hold on to him
I open my heart in the middle of the night
Am I sleepwalking, sleepwalking
Baby, keep talking and sing me your best lullaby
I'm in the middle of a dream, at least that's how it feels
Open all the windows and scratch out my cold black heart
It rinses my cuts
Asked me to hold on, hold on to
Hold on to
The love of a man that I hardly even know
Am I sleepwalking, sleepwalking
Baby, keep talking and sing me your best lullaby
A new light
Bright eyes
A new light
So glad it was finally released but I would dare to say this live version is unmatched
The one and only Susanne Sundfør ... the greatest singer this planet ever has created!
For all who’s looking for a studio version of this: this is on Susanne’s new album, but changed its title to “Nattsongr”
her next album is already my favourite album.

i felt so many the silicone veil vibes....
what a plot twist
did she ever release this song?
Not yet. This performance is a year after her latest studio album. A new album comes out in a month, so maybe it'll be on there..?
Yes. It's now in her new album blómi, with the title 'náttsongr' :)
That crooked tooth just adds to her beauty
