Thank you for this video. I decided to retwist my microlocs after watching a few of your videos. Count me in on being interested in learning your wash routine.
Thank you for sharing. Been finding myself searching "microlocs no retie" videos. I see most are retightening versus twisting. Both have pros & cons, It's just more of a preference. I'd like to experience both but twists may fit more for me, time, simpler, etc
You and your hair are absolutely beautiful. I know you've mentioned that you work out a lot. Do you deal with any scalp issues like itching or flaking? These are issues for me and I also work out frequently and am unsure about locking just because I'm not sure if it would exacerbate my scalp issues. Will you share how you maintain your scalp in between washes? Thank you for sharing your journey❣️
Thank you so much! Honestly, When I was a loose natural the center of my head would always stay irritated. I think it was a combination of the sweating mixed in with the products I was using. Since I started my loc journey I have not had any scalp issues even with the sweating. I keep my hair down a lot, not sure if that plays a part also. Could be a combination of minimal products and not having the hair tied up after workouts. Good question! ❤️
@@AliciaJames Thank you for your response! That's good to know. Glad you are recovering well from your surgery, too! Been watching your videos since 2011☺️
Love your locs and have been going through all of your videos for inspiration and ideas! How often do you wash your locs? Is it during the same timeframe that you retweet’s (every 4-6 weeks)?
How often do you was your hair and what’s your routine like, I have microlocks that I interlock but wants to switch. Can you please give the product you use for retwisting as well please
When you combined your microlocs, did you retwist them together? I’m in my 1 month phase and I’m trying to combine but I don’t know if I should twist them then use retwisting gel so they can loc up
Most of my locs were combined by just twisting them together. I also have a few braid locs I created in the very back of my head around the nape area. ❤️️
I didn’t know twisting small microlocs was even an option because they are “Micro” I can’t see it right now i have about 300 micro locs and I don’t see how i would be able to retwist them… i always that interlocking was best for Micro… idk 🤷🏾♀️
Yes, it is definitely an option. When I went to a loctician, they were actually happy that I was retwisting an not interlocking; however all locticians are different. ❤️

Thanks for the video ! I would like to know how often do you wash your hair between the retwist and how do you manage unraveling ?
I wash my hair once a month. I have a video coming up to talk about washing and unraveling just for you. 😀

Got it! I am working on this video. Have to get my camera set up right for the shower. LOL! ❤️

Good luck! ❤️❤️❤️

You are correct. On average, I wash every 4-6 weeks when it is time to retwist.
I would also like a routine video as I contemplate getting microlocs.
Also what lip color are you wearing? It's a beautiful shade on you ☺️
Great video idea! I got you! ❤️
Lip Color: SheGlam "Lift Off"

Wash=once a month and I am currently using Lion Locs Locking Moisturizer which I plan to do a review of soon. Love it!
@@AliciaJames thanks dear
So you retwist after every wash
@@millyoduro yes! ♥️

How many locs do you have here. Since you combined them?
about 260 ❤️
You should update this video because I seen on instagram that you interlock now
How did you combine your locs?

@@AliciaJames thank you!
I would love that video. I would like to know how you wash between retwists and if it causes unraveling. Thanks!
Will do!! Thanks for watching!!! 😀❤

It is all about preference
It isn't easy to find a good person that can do locs
You really didn't say why you don't interlock 😩😩
Video on retwist please
I have one on my channel under my microlocs playlist; however I will be doing another one soon to show the new product I am using. ❤️
