2:50 Many artists like portray Gem as sweet person with a psychotic streak (which is funny), but THIS is the first time I’ve seen Gem portrayed as a proper BADASS like some kind of action heroine and it works just as well, if not better. I’m not even a Gem fan (Desert Duo all the way), and I loved it. That “You guys are gross” followed by the roundhouse kick to the face looked right out of an action movie. A part of me, someone who rooted for Scar, almost wish Gem won so she could win that fight in this animatic. That’s how good this is.

As an ex-dream smp fan, sad-ist’s “warriors” animatic was my awakening to fandom animatics and Minecraft RUclips in general. After the dream smp fell apart, and everyone I liked died, or got exposed as a horrible person. I didn’t go near mcyt for a year after that, because I was too scared that it was all like that. Now, at the start of this year, I found the life series, then hermitcraft, and experienced the same level of… brainrot and felt somehow like I never left the scene. This fandom reawakened my faith in minecraft RUclips, and this time round, I’ve found a place far less toxic and controversial to find comfort in. This is somehow me, re-experiencing something for the first time again, and this beautiful animatic just… oh my gosh this is the best way to do it. Thank you so much, you are so goddamn talented, and I commend you for the many, many hours this must have taken.
Omg same! I only discovered life series/hermitcraft half way through double life, after not having gone near mcyt after dsmp crashed and burned. But things like sad-ist's animatics really feel nostalgic now. I'm glad I didn't give up on mcyt now, because this community is so much more upbeat than some in the mcyt world are.
I thankfully left the Dream SMP fandom before all the major drama started, but I still go back to watch some of the animatics. I found Hermitcraft pretty soon after, and eventually decided to look into the Life Series. When I started looking at Hermitcraft/Life Series animatics, I enjoyed them. They also started to remind me of Dream SMP animatics that I enjoyed. I occasionally remembered audio or songs from Dream SMP animatics that I thought would fit with Life Series ones. I never thought I would see an animatic like this in the Life Series fandom, but I think it's amazing. It flows really well. I like how the music is used to create emotion while still allowing the dialogue to be the actual series audio.
I had a pretty similar trajectory, except I was already kind of "disillusioned" with DSMP before everything went to hell and my stepping stone was actually Empires SMP. Regardless, it's nice to find people that can relate.

This animatic shows exactly why I truly believe that the Final Session of Secret Life (on the whole) is the greatest Final Life Series session since 3rd Life, possibly even better.
The part in the animation where Scar is saying, " The Secret Keepers tried to make me a villain this entire season.....And it's like, why not just embrace it?! Why don't I just become the Villain?!" This reminds me so much of when Wilbur from the Dream SMP ("The Fall", DSMP Animation) said, "Then Let's be the Bad Guys." All in all this is a GREAT Animation. Keep up the work.

Great song and quote choices. GREAT animation. Bigb's death is fantastic and done in a way I hadn't thought about. The way the sword slashed through the captions was a fantastic little detail. Scar's different bases through the series was cool. Grian's fight was brilliantly choreographed and executed. Only thing I'm sad about was missing etho's dishwasher and the boogeyman apocalypse. But there's other animations of those so whatever. Overall amazing job and I hope you get the recognition this deserves.

That entire fight is made even more jaw-dropping when you realise if grian managed to just kill one of them, he would've gotten more hearts and who knows maybe even could've beaten all of them O.o he dealt SOO much damage 😶

fav piece has to be the part w injured etho and scar's ender pearl kill. i'm so impressed with how you animated etho in his totally beat down and wounded state it's heartbreaking. and scar's monologue is so evil and snarky i LOVE the drama. the lil ender pearl bonking etho in the head is such a lil whimsical tidbit i adore it. wrap it up with a totally badass kill from scar and hooo boy is that just such a sick series of events. what wonderful storytelling! and the emotion you can convey in these scenes is just incredible!! fantastic job!!!
