Important to note that in your best case waiting scenario where you wait for Lost Origin reprint then go all in at $120, you’re still paying 20% higher than the guy that just bought at release for $100. You are overpaying by more than the worst case selling fees of 15%, basically just so you get to feel better than you “got a deal,” but ignoring the fact that your “deal” was 20% markup over the preorder price. Buying at preorder and just moving set to set is the best strategy. The train doesn’t stop. Lost Origin to the moon.
Rudy method works and is more fun. You have almost no downside. Also you can ramp up orders on great looking sets and youll never miss anything . Like many did on Twilight. I prefer 2-4 cases for each set
Lost origin to the moon! Great vid my dude, Do you ever buy a case in case you could be wrong on a set? For example, I’m a bit down on Stellar crown, but I bought a case just in case I’m wrong (but only one) and if I am really high on a set I’d buy multiple cases*
Honestly not really. For example, I’m not going to buy any Stellar crown (feel like better sets are going to come out). I also never bought battle styles (kinda controversial), darkness ablaze, or rebel clash.
Love the content, don't worry about the negativity, they have literally nothing better to do its sad. I will be methodically investing in a booster box case for every new release, regardless if I think a set is promising or not. This is to be systematic, remove emotion, diversify (so will hit some home runs but yes going to have some "losers"). Boosters optimal too for storage and $$$ per space. Do you think I just start this going forward e.g. from Surging Sparks onwards? Or go back and get earlier S&V Boosters and Sword and Shield (while we still can). Probably only have enough capital to deploy to get a case of each new release assuming four new set releases a year :).
Thanks for commenting. It honestly all depends on how much money you have to spend. Everyone pretty much knows which sets that have been released are good. Obviously some are also more expensive than others. So kinda hard to exactly tell you what to do. For the future sets, wouldn’t be the worst idea just to buy a case of each set.
Could happen just with the Giratina. Chilling reign and fusion strike are also pretty good. Honestly IMO any sets with alt arts are all going to do pretty well.
Battle Styles isn't that bad. In my opinion, though. Lot's of cool cards, not expensive, but appealing to my eyes. Did end up buying a case of Battle Styles, firstly to open for completing the set, but now I do need just a few cards left, I'll keep it sealed and buy the singles to complete it. And, I do have two Lost Origin cases as well.
Flash forward. Darkness ablaze, 5 more years. 300$ Battle style, 5 years.. defiantly 450$ min. Canadian. Compare it to say a chilling reign. It's ranked higher, that might tell you comparably you're maybe looking at 800$ 640$ maybe in-between there, maybe possibly on the higher end
Lost origin to the moon. I primarily prefer 1, but if a set starts to move, I might pick up some more after the market and mass consumers respond to the set.
LO To The 🌙. Also I've grown into a better Pokemon investor. I only want the blatantly obvious #1 set. If we're talking S/S that would be ES. But yea I did the same thing you did and performed a soft reset. Lets see how the rest of S/V turns out.
Lost Origin to the moon. (Would love to see you and Nostalgia Nomics discuss Pokémon investing)
lol I’m a solo man. Don’t think I’ll ever get into the space of talking to others unfortunately.

Thanks for your videos, really appreciate your input in the investing field of pokemon!
Evolving skies had a sizeable reprint a year after release. It just didn’t have a second reprint. Lost origin to the moon 🌙

I remmber Lost Origin used to be $95 and Team up $100. Damn, shit flys real quick.
I'm still with you my man. Keep the. Cases sealed.
Lost origin to the moon!

I feel Lost Origin gone be the 2nd best main set from S&S era.
Could happen just with the Giratina. Chilling reign and fusion strike are also pretty good. Honestly IMO any sets with alt arts are all going to do pretty well.
Lost origin to the moon in Tasmania
I hope lost origin goes to the moon
It will keep holding
Good video. X
New subscriber but I agree with you lost origin to the moon baby
Easy, buy cases of booster boxes of the best sets and hold long term

Yeah battle styles is actually a good set I like it better than like vivid voltage for example it's a good set at 110 a box or less
Lost origin to the moon. I primarily prefer 1, but if a set starts to move, I might pick up some more after the market and mass consumers respond to the set.
Good strategy
Bought two lost origin booster boxes, so I hope they do go the moon.
Lost origin to the moon 🎉🎉
Lost origin to mars
Is flip side gaming canadian? I never read anyone use that word. Im assuming no.
Lost origin to the moon
Lost Origin to the moon ↗️🌕
Completely agree fusion strike and lost origin and of course obsidian flames too the moon
Lost Moon to the Origin!
i paid 20$ extra for case over 6 single booster boxes. W or L?
That’s not that bad. And if the booster boxes were higher value then that’s pretty good.
Buy booster boxes at 90-100 a box then literally forget about them. Just put it away and don’t think about it
I’ve been doing that when they are the right price. Even tho I am tempted to open them so much, I know it will be worth it in the long run if I don’t.
@@captaincutler2371dont open them. I mean or do it. Just makes mine more valuable longer term the more are ripped
