I was incessantly grinding this level the other day - that is, namely, Saturday last week - and I managed to make it to the 1980's. Roughly six and a half hours is the amount of time I had to bestow in order to get this far. As I was on my way to the end of the level, crawling strenuously and slowly through each consecutive room, impatiently awaiting victory, I went on to do something that I would thereafter deeply regret doing... Feeling fatigued by this seemingly endless toilsome journey, I decided to pause the game to take a little minute break. But little did I know that doing so would be a huge, huge mistake because just as I was about to unpause my game, I somehow accidentally switched into practice mode. And from that moment on I knew there was nothing I could do - I was brought all the way back to the very beggining where I had last been six and a half hours ago... Wow! I am simply flabbergasted as to how incredible my luck is! :))))))

DEFINITELY AN INSANE DEMON, Considering how I am mainly a classic level player, and my previous hardest platformer was twenty trials I should not have found AUDIO EXCURSION (an insane demon classic level) HARDER THAN THIS. And I was very bad at this platformer as well. I took over 12k attempts and 12.5 hours, YET I STILL WOULD SAY THIS LEVEL IS OVERATED AS HELL. Insane demon seems much more fitting.
The thing with platformers is i feel like the actual effort and amount of time it takes to learn a level is completely overlooked; It takes less time and attempts over all to beat an "extreme" platformer than it does to beat an extreme classic level, to me it seems difficulty instead is based off brute forcing the level with no practice runs and seeing how bad that goes, which is not accurate imo considering the difficulty of classic levels is handled differently for the same rating, hence i expect the likes of the abyss to potentially fall out of extreme in the nearish future when people realise this, and why i also dont consider this extreme right now when paired with my other points in the video description. And i have my own experience to back this up from back when i beat iwbtg when it just fell out of extreme rating, having done one practice session of the level helped immensely and it felt way easier than i initially had thought it would be.

WE GOT THE SAME JETPACK AND ROBOT, also imo, this pevel os extremely hard, my game crashed somewhere at lvl 1850-1880, then i did a rerun where i fluked so many hard lvls (such as 666 and 399 and 997-999), congrats on beating this beast of a demon
Theres a few tight rooms but honestly it wasn't a concern for me whatsoever I believe theres no checkpoints in those rooms as nothing can kill you, so you can just press the restart button and youll get sent to room 1000 where the last checkpoint is
i agree its an insane i dont even think its a high end insane just cause only like 15 or 16 rooms are genuinely insane difficulty. maybe somewhere around the same difficulty as IWBTG, but since every room has a checkpoint (besides 1000-1100) i feel its too forgiving and i would prob rank it below IWBTG.

If youve recently tried to bot a level or something, check if disable checkpoints was activated I know megahack does this when recording macros to prevent it from breaking or something
Im using a texture pack; replacing a texture in the game files with another one that i find more appealing. I dont remember which texture it is but im sure you could have a pretty accurate educated guess
Im surprised its rated as well especially because i think it looks ugly on top of being so long and boring, its a unique idea though so i assume thats probably why it was rated, i really hope no more of these kinds of levels get rated lol

That is why robtop should make it so checkpoints save. Then, I would be able to continue from where I left off on a levele like this
And adding an option in the editor where they don’t save when you exit but they save on exit by default
