I have an 8 in metal column, it is structural holds 20,000 lbs but is hollow....my question is can I install these brackets on it without damaging the strength of column and what kind of screws to use on my metal column? Thank you

Mary Morris I am looking for the same thing! Flag mounts are flat and present a problem with trying to drill holes into a round column and also the problem of the gap behind the top part of the mount.
