In Australia a few years ago we had “Parers War” about Damien Parer the World War Two cameraman who filmed Kokoda Frontline in 1942 in New Guinea. (A good one to review ). It focuses on his time with the Independent commandos in July 1943 at Wau ( Kanga Force). It’s a TV but pretty darn good!
There was a bit of a missed opportunity with “Frankies House” the story of Tim Page. The photographer of the Vietnam War from 1965 to 1969. It was not very good! It was filmed in Australia in 1992.
@@FightingOnFilm The real Tim Page used to live in my town Brisbane. He was not happy about the series he told us. And said they had made up too much stuff and miscast the guy playing Sean Flynn.
