Dyneema could be better against small guns, but against rifles you need some ceramic plates too.
I actually own this vest and wear it for work. Best investment so far. I live in chicago and do street security in a not so safe neighborhood. This vest easy to wear, adjustable, and doesn’t weigh me down after 8hrs of walking. I highly recommend it.
Note: i only have to soft armor, not plates.
Scott wiggling his butt the whole time he's firing the Gatling gun is hilarious
Lol I thought the same thing 😝
hahahahahah dont recognize it until now 😂

Scott- I need a gatling gun
Can se why there is an ammo shortage with him in the country
@@Monster3Games you must not watch demo ranch.. or brandon herrera..

it will be interesting to see this armor on a zombie torso to see what internal damage would occur from the force of the rounds being stopped by the plates!

he got shot by one so you could see what actually happens

I'm glad sportsman's guide is helping ensure no table sufferes unduly on this channel by allowing you to put the table down at the end of each video.
*When the gun has a higher probability of breaking before the body armor does*
I'm sure it was a magazine issue over the firearm issue.
@@MThrow True.
Welcome to 19th century tech😂
This takes we failed to penetrate their armour to a whole new level
I'm not certain that those 409 rounds actually penetrated the armour as much as the heat from all those rounds just melted a hole in it.
When your bullets start adding up to your foes armor, its time to stop shooting.
time to get some melee weapons
Lmaooo the repeating “Jammed” video was so freaking funny
It got old, the first 3 times made my face muscles moved, but after that it was annoying.
Was it? I disagree.
@@dylanmonstrum1538 then stop watching
“You just got jammed.”
@@rayburn8282 That was the dumbest fucking comment.
How do you know it's annoying if you dont watch it?
Imagine reporting this to the station if you a cop and saying “it’s a long story”
I love the commitment to the "You just got jammed" joke
After 200 rounds, your goal becomes to weigh them down so much they can't move. 😂
Good one
I think at some point the rounds started to actually reinforce the armour 😂
Very possible
Non-penetration doesn't mean it doesn't hurt though. I bet Spankey still felt like he is being ATATATATATATATATATA-ed
I was thinking the same thing.
Right until the last test, and seeing the dust shooting out with each hit, I was pretty certain it was more lead than armor by weight, and each new bullet just made it more bulletproof.
Same my thoughts: Im starting to think theres now a wall of lead in that vest
Maybe that's a design feature? lol
Bro imagine if a home intruder breaks in to see you with a FREAKING Gatling gun
Just as the founding fathers intended.
Let him have it right up his arse. He shouldn't have been there.
Most people: why don't we use drum mags in war?
Me: shows them this video
Imagine hearing the "you just got jammed" clip playing out across the battlefield.
Next time, you oughta bring a stack of buttered toast with you, so you can make use of all the jam.

Nice

at what point does the material of the rounds fired into the vest become the new armor and stops the new incoming rounds from going through 🤔🤔
That's what I was thinking. There has to have been a point where all the stopped lead rounds created a second layer of armor and slowed down incoming bullets
Regenerative Armour/Infinite Armour
you need to add mending enchantment
@@aa1589 even without them going through once you got a certain point you're going to start getting most of the impact energy, which is really going to start to suck real fast
At some point the added weight would start to suck. About 400 of the 115gr rounds is only about 6.5lbs, but eventually in a marathon gun fight, it might be a lot of weight. 🤣
I work in harbor and ocean towage, and we use Dyneema as towing lines because they have a static workload that's stronger than a steel wire. only downside is more prone to friction and lower shock load absorbance
Sick gun! Love it so much🤩

Can we just appreciate that he had to spend loads of time reloading the all of the mags
Speed loaders. Dump a box of ammo into them, slot the mag in, push them in with the mechanism. That's how I load my AR mags. He probably has something as simple as that, or most likely, way better and more efficient.
Quote of the day " you stick it in 'ere and as fast as you crank it"
You should get in touch with the people from the Guiness World Record Book and ask them if this is eligible for some sort of world record. I'll bet the company who makes this body armor would love it, for PR.
I mean seriously over 400 rounds of 9mm until you finally managed to get through it, that has to be a new world record for body armors.
Man it looks like he's shooting airsoft bbs at it. That vest is an absolute unit!
Nah that vest is the U.S. Army
The vest turned into a mouse nest at the end!!!😂😂😂🤣
Love the video Scott 👍🏻
That right
ammo shortage in america ,,Scott "lets blow 500 rounds in a sitting"

i love how much passion he has for this. like he always seems happy and all that and you don’t see that very often anymore
he still looks pretty happy to me
After a while, as the vest fills up with lead, wouldn’t the lead content of the vest also be providing resistance to penetration?
yes, but not even close to the protection the vest offers, that is after all how bullets eventually get through
No because there's is a chance that's it's still hot so it could explode

I feel like after 110 rounds even if they stop them all your organs are pudding
Except if you take 110 rounds consecutively you are considered the slowest duude on earth. And the other man shooting you a practical movie star marksman.

The firts tenth of rounds would already make your ribs powder so yeah, 400 would make you pudding.
I feel after 30 just in your gut, you'd be like, "Okay! I'm done! Ya got me!"
National Ammo Shortage: *exists*
Scott: *pew pew*
Wow, that was wicked cool, especially after all that when he opened the vest, I was half expecting a bunch of bullets to be poured put of a nifty new bag, instead seeing the design without a single piece of metal, stopping 400 plus rounds fire consecutively, something that you probably would never see in action and it worked.
Only downer, if the dummy had ribs, they'd all be busted like the ceramic plates.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he has little minions loading all those magazines for him.🤣
Scotts mom does all the loading.
Lmaooo
You're not funny.
Banana.
Tactical T-Rex does it with his widdle arms.
I think we should call the Gatling gun, “The Even Biger iron”.
"windy windy shred stick"
The Iron Of Unusual Size
Comically large iron
Big big iron
Hands full of various things, including smushed and torn Lead and Copper, Ceramic pulverized to various degrees, Shredded Kevlar and a couple other textiles that I don't even know the names of.
Scott: Nothin' but PURE LEAD
I much prefer these older videos. Less shouting, no annoying skits at the start. I'm sure others love it though.
All the bullets stuck inside the vest is also probably helping stop new bullets from going through the vest.
The secret to this vest: the vest turns the bullets INTO NEW ARMOR!!!
This rivalry between you and the T-rex has gotten serious.
At a certain point the bullets sitting in the armor became armor in itself.
I know that we can’t and shouldn’t do it… but that crank could be awfully fun if it were powered by a drill.
1:10 “I can just stand behind it and start cranking” 😳
Boner Time, I understand how much you liked that comment! Haha!
The ultimate testament. You sir just made me want to get one for myself and my entire crew at my shooting club.
I did not skip a single second of this video, even the part where you threw the desk.
The gun or the vest?
Nice to see the, 'You just got jammed, ugh' man appear. That looks like lots of fun, now I want one. If I had one, instead of a hand crank, my husband would put a cordless drill on the shaft, that way, you can vary the speed to avoid jams and not zip through all your ammunition. Or at least you could try!!
The only table to have survived a video and Scott goes all WWE and the end.
RIP table.
