I'm not even Muslim and I find it very emotional too. I always find hijabs so elegant and feminine so from the fashion perspective I love these videos but when you think too that these girls get a first hand experience of really delving into another's culture and religion, they learn and feel how deeply special hijabs are in Islam and the empathy that must result from that is all just magical. SO much is learned in these experiences and it's just beautiful.

@لا اله الله الله اكبر Hijab is a symbol of inequality and offense,not Islam. Allah shows the way to him, but it is really difficult to be on Allah's way. It is really difficult to build society based on equality and compassion. Equality demands efforts, but to sacrifice some people to other people is much easier. It is difficult to believe in power of human abilities, but believe that sex is the only what people can intrest in is much easier. It is difficult to decide men and women relationships problems but to destroy them is much easier. It is difficult to take responsibility for your actions and their consequences independently you are a man or a woman but to put the responsibility to others is much easier. It is difficult to believe in kindness of human heart and it's generous intentions but believe in a piece of cloth is much easier. Your Cloth God relives you from these difficulties, that why you love your Cloth God so much

Every woman looks beautiful with the hijabs. I'm so glad you did this. I can't believe how many different languages you speak so fluently. I'm learning Italian and it's difficult but I will persevere. Next language once fluent in Italian will be Arabic since so many of my friends are Muslim. Can't help but feel left out.

Surprisingly after hijab all of them looked like sophisticated models. So pretty. I might start wearing one, in winters as a start. Feels more cozy, warm n protected specially during colder months ( in a good way).

Alhamdullilah to hear that u become muslim,just want to share with u about hijab, i have office mate she is non muslim ,for over 10yrs she wear hijab in office,as muslim i feel respect of her. And 1 day i ask why as non muslim she wear hijab?the answer is because when she talks ,guys are more focus on the conversation rather than look else where.also i ask her boyfriends also non muslim feels about his gf hijab go to office.and her boyfriend said he feels that his gf has being safely protected while working.

We do have a mosque here that I am going to visit with my MIL soon. My bigger concern isn’t people who don’t know me. It is people who know my parents. My parents probably aren’t going to take it very well. My mom won’t say anything but my dad will question me a lot. I want to wait until my foundation is more solid. I have told my coworker some but not too much and she’s super supportive. So is my husband and in-laws.

I am not Muslim or identify as mainstream Christian either but love to study wisdom and spiritual laws of the universe. Last year I sought out wearing turbans for various reasons of spiritual, fashion and to protect my long hair. The more I've researched there are indeed metaphysical and spiritual benefits to head covering as well as scientific. I do enjoy the Sikh teaching on head wrapping also. I definitely love protecting my hair this way and it is less hassle as I don't plan to cut it. I also do feel protected by covering my dome even though a turban is different than a hijab, it is still covering the head. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the difference between hijab and turbans or other head covering.
