Don't look like 14 years ago. So much more classy. That's why Iv been going for 25 years i enjoy seeing it change over the years for the better as I come with my family now! Bring on next year again . Palma nova and magaluf best place in the world ❤❤❤
So busy , yet so calm out there Alex .. Magaluf has definitely turned a corner.. and for the better it has to be said . Thanks for sharing Alex and congratulations on reaching 35k subs . Very much deserved 😊👍
from '04 to '09 I was there all but 1 summer Galaxy used to be called Chaplins and the owner also owned Revolutions next door (which is now tigertiger)
I've been going to Magaluf for 35 years now. I've never got bored of it all the way through from my 20's to 50's. The only difference is that my nights have moved from the strip to the Piano Bar. I'll be there two weeks tomorrow.
I have to say it doesn't look that busy to me, yes people are around but i wouldn't say its busy now. I would love you to chat to the bar owners and see how the year has been for them. Great video by the way love watching all your content.
I can add maybe a little bit of context. (I dont own a bar just for clarity) This year has been quiet, while not the worst it’s been nowhere near the best. Spanish student ‘study trips’ and the Euros have helped. PR/Reps up and down the strip have been saying it’s quieter than normal. Bars you expect to be jumping no longer are. Prices aren’t helping with the average cost of a pint around €5 now on the main strip (most charge €6 which is shocking) and a simple cocktail is now €10+ a far cry from even 2022 when a €2 pint was still a thing. (Was there June & July) Something I feel has to give before it crashes and kills the resort. I love this little resort and I want it to thrive but the rules and regs, plus price increases are holding it in a choke hold at the minute.
Wonderful how the restaurants are lit up with all those flashy lights. I remember walking there as a kid and there was someone who sold wristbands. A friend of mine from the UK, called this town Shegharluf but I told her it's Magaluf and than she laughed. What did she mean? Is it a Lord of the rings reference?
We usually go to magaluf twice a year but we have watched it lose its soul since covid and get much more expensive so this year we went to lloret de mar only back actually last week and omg was it busy every bar, club and restaurant packed with people of all ages and it so much cheaper than magaluf unfortunately for us we may not be back to majorca as there so many better places out there, majorca is not what it once was
Majorca is a beautiful island, and caters for most people. But I think that this year, it has seen less visitors than previous years. That could be down to the prices that are being charged, and the bad publicity mentioned by the media. It seems to me money is tight, and people are looking for value for money, and it seems that Majorca is not value for money anymore. Keep up your good work, looking forward to seeing more of your videos, as the holiday season tapers off.
Well Alex you weren’t the oldest on the strip because I was looking. But I have to say, I would rather be on Magaluf strip than Playa De Palma that’s for sure. Thanks Alex and congratulations.
You're not the oldest on the strip by a long way Alex. Im still trying to find my 18-30 colleagues here. Where are the reps?. Quiet busy but cant see no bar crawls or clients drinking outside the bars. At least you didn't cause any trouble this time.😂
Intense music! Oh Alex, we were all ever so worried you wouldn’t get out of there?! What with all the gangbangers kicking about. Thank goodness you got out of there safe!😂
LOL you mentioned you were the oldest person on the strip. MEGA-YOOF. It does look so boring there. There doesn't seem to be any Street Magic Shows like in Vegas Fremont or beach shows.
The outside music ban is clearly being obeyed.. now they just need to convert more of their space to "well inside" so they can turn it up and not be heard from the street.. Oh and get rid of the people whispering other things to buy
Lmao. That's the most unpartying party I ever saw. Literally sedate, just people standing quietly in the street. I guess we can assume Magaluf has died watching that. It seemed to me very few of those were Brits though, so that's likely why it was a bit better behaved. 😂
It didn't look horrific & it was strangely quiet. Bravery award for Alex.
Hahaha thanks Faith - it was remarkably tame tbh - the tamest yet !
Congratulations on hitting the 35 k .

Have a lovely time and you're right! It's definitley NOT boring!

Thanks so much Daryn, that means a lot. And great idea - but it's getting them to talk on camera....

@@darynsaxYou’re welcome, happy to add some insight.
Woo hoo 35k well done 😊. Great video, im currently sitting in the Red lion in can pic❤
Thank you!
I have seen it look busier but it was probably the early hours of the morning say 2-00 or later!😎😂😂
It was midnight !
I enjoyed it here last week, not to crowdy just how i like it . Stayed at sol house studio

I would say switch out the “e” for an “a” 😂
@@MallorcaUnderTheSun oh.... thanks
I much prefer it now. Started going in the early 90’s, glad it’s not the same. We take the kids now. They love it.
The atmspohere has changed so much and so many families there too!

We were here in July and it was Dead, just as it seems to be late August. Albufeira for us from now on
Oh I didn’t know Albuferia had good nightlife

You did way better than I would Alex filming around there. I just hate crowds
I honestly didn't even think there would've been that much of a crowd either!
Well Alex you weren’t the oldest on the strip because I was looking. But I have to say, I would rather be on Magaluf strip than Playa De Palma that’s for sure. Thanks Alex and congratulations.
Haha Diane, me too!!! It's such a small area too which is the most surprising!
Very interesting video Alex. Still lots of people wearing white. Think I'll stick to Puerto Pollensa . Best wishes, John
Looks quite quiet
What are the disco night clubs that locals go to?
You're not the oldest on the strip by a long way Alex. Im still trying to find my 18-30 colleagues here. Where are the reps?. Quiet busy but cant see no bar crawls or clients drinking outside the bars. At least you didn't cause any trouble this time.😂
You've just hit the nail on the head Glyn...aside from the lack of music, noone was really drinking!
Top
Just got back myself. Had a great time but literally 10 blokes to every 1 woman on the strip
Yes!! I noticed that too! Same throughout the resort!!
👋👋👋👋👋👋
Doesn’t look as busy as when I went in the 90s. It was heaving back then.
This is what everyone is saying!
Intense music! Oh Alex, we were all ever so worried you wouldn’t get out of there?! What with all the gangbangers kicking about. Thank goodness you got out of there safe!😂

It was kinda weird with lots of people just standing around but that’s cos I was the oldest person there ! 😂
There used to be dancers, fire breathers etc but the fun police (local council) decided to ban them all 🙄
10:19 no 🎵
😂
Has Uncle Tom's bar opposite Lennon's gone Alex?
It's not like the magaluf I knew it's lost its vibe .
You all here because of Inbetweeners Movie aren’t you ?
😂 LOL - I remember when that was being filmed in WINTER and they had to pretend it was Summer.
It's not how it used to be before covid and when we came in 2012

Yeah Magaluff has a lot of Italians now ,..they always dress in white.
Haha, it was a very unusual atmosphere I have to say!!
your not the oldest alex after watcgin your vid i think i can clame that
Haha thank you !
Wow it looks dead compared to early 2000's when we used to go, could barley walk down the strip
It’s changed a lot
Hate that chicken nugget stuff from the street sellers, still surprises me that not many know it’s a racial slur, it means cheap white meat.
??? Do you mean the chicken hats ?
Wokealuf has no atmosphere now, no sound systems, the Brits are going back to the Greek islands and the youngsters there now are unlikely to return.
