What a feeling to have totally forgotten about this game, its music, and its visuals and then to feel it re-emerge from your brain in a rush of nostalgia. I’m glad I dug deep into RUclips tonight.
According to the Windows version of this game, the MS-DOS version is also included on the disc for the Windows version and it actually exists. Since I did a let's play of the Windows version at one time in October 2012, I was thinking about doing a let's play of Circus Stormin' in the MS-DOS version.
I loved this video. It make me remember so many things. sadly, my computer is not compatible with the version of the game. because the computer is, you know, of the "new Age" and the game is kind of old. :( *crying*
This video was actually pretty intense (and mega lolz @47:20). Awesome to see these games again! But why'd you throw the checkers game?! I was so in to it, I was like, shouting at the screen.
I agree, that one totally stole the show for me as a kid. Even today I still think it's one of the hardest games I've ever played, even when you forget the fact that it's a kids' game!
Speaking of "Word Hunt," I noticed some words inside some of them: "real" in "cereal," "whisk" in "whisker," "put" in "computer," "scoot" in "scooter," "ball" and "loon" in "balloon," and "skim" in "Eskimo." I also found a word that's not there: "fan" (Row 9, Columns 1-3). Make that two: "ark" (Row 13, Columns 1-3).
In that word hunt game, I found a word that wasn't on the list: "joke." It was starting at the bottom left and rising to the right. I also found another word that may partially or completely count: "snap," "pans," "pan," and "nap," all vertically above the "J" still on the farthest left.
Here's a theory I thought up: the four new activities for this were meant to be part of a scrapped game called "Putt-Putt's Fun Pack Volume 2" with music from "Putt-Putt Goes To The Moon".
Oh, I also found "bend(s)" and "her" and "tram." Or even just plain old "ram." And "fan." Gosh, how many words can you find in a word hunt puzzle that are not on the list?
Putt-Putt's Fun Pack has only the first six games here. There's no such thing as Putt-Putt's Activity Pack. Putt-Putt's One-Stop Fun Shop is basically an arts and crafts collection.
@wileyk209zback I have absolutely no idea. FBFP is rare, and I mean RARE. I've come across it on eBay one time (amazingly enough, it was IN THE BOX), and I've never seen it elsewhere. The truly sad part is the 3DO version is easy to find, but I mean it when I say good luck finding the DOS version.
For ScummVM, just open it up, click "Add Game", look for the game directory, and click "Add" then "OK". Highlight the game and click "Start". Now make a text file with a .cmd extension and put this in the text file: C: cd Program Files cd ScummVM scummvm puttsfunshop-us Now tell the kid to open that whenever he wants to play it. Tada!
Wait, I'm confused... what's the difference between Putt-Putt's Fun Pack, Putt-Putt's Activity Pack, Putt-Putt's One-Stop Fun Shop, and this? OSFS is the one I had (along with this), but it was MsDOS and couldn't get past the title screen, and now I'm confused as to which is which.
Activity Pack is apparently an "updated release" of Fun Pack or something, but I can't find any info on it. I'm starting to doubt it. But anyway, thanks. I was hoping OSFS would be the same as Activity pack, but since OSFS is different I guess I'll have to figure out how to make it work on Windows. I'd use an emulator, but the person I'm setting it up for is five (unless ScummVM is that easy? I doubt it though).
So I recognize this Putt-Putt's activity pack without Fatty Bear to be in it! Since I was 7 at Ellendale Elementary School during June 1998 at the end of school.
@legoking831 Well, ObscureNForeign has Fatty Bear's Fun Pack. Both the 3DO & DOS versions. The 3DO one he has is in Japanese, while the DOS version is in English.
It's a 4-game disc that came packaged with a handful of Creative Sound Blaster kits. They usually contained a sound card, a CD drive, and any number of games. As far as I'm aware, it was only ever sold that way, never as a standalone product.

Damn. You play a good match of checkers.
This video is like a master class on how to get owned repeatedly by a childrens game
Hardest? Hot Ziggity

Omg. I wanna cry. My childhood.
Anyone notice that the music used in this game is the same as in "Putt-Putt Joins the Parade"?
Yes, as well as the plain _Putt-Putt's Fun Pack,_ and *Fatty Bear's* recycles music from _Fatty Bear's Birthday Surprise._
I almost died of second-hand embarrassment watching that checkers game xD
Fatty bear is way more chill than putt-putt. Looks like a poker dealer playing go fish.
This was the first videogame i've played. I'm 21 now :D
With this game i started learning english. I'm 25 now , and that was also one of my first english games, along Doom and Dark Forces

One of my favorite activity is the circuses activity that one is a lot of fun.

It's a shame Fatty Bear never had another game after this :(
SuperMarkerComicBro Please bring back Fatty Bear at once! That would be interested!
А почему на английском языке :(
I miss Humongous Entertainment.
AverageO #BringBackHumongousEntertainment

That game Reversi 19:35 was the only game I had no idea how to play as a kid. I used to just guess randomly for a while before quitting.

Hi everyone,
Ask God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost to show you what I’m trying to tell you and others.
@wileyk209zback I just found out that it did. It's weird hearing it that way since I've been so used to this one.
@TheZenMovies Windows Movie Maker on XP saves movies at very small sizes. I just go by the default.
*Hi I’m a car that stole a dog that isn’t mine and I’m a bear who scared a girl called Kayla XD*
OMGGGGG the hours I would spend on this game!!!!

Holy shit, sequences and series and an introduction to cypher cracking 101 43:03 .... No wonder about my career choices.
11:52 The Cursor Wanted To Go To The Middle-Middle,But The Game Thought He Went Middle-Left,So The Cursor Went In A Rage.
You shouldn't use movie maker, but something more pro, like Adobe Premiere, I use it daily for my studies.
Bart.
I watched this when I was 5 6 or 7 years old
Nostalgia hits hard with this one.
I remember playing this on the computer in my special Ed elementary school in Glen Cove.
@jamessterV2 This one was 230 MB.
I thought comments are turned off
@legoking831

About the "Word Hunt" part, how did you manage to get from the beginning of a word to the end with just one click? I never knew that toggle.
Oh my god the nostalgia 🙁
@Hondo20132
Not just in this game. He also says "hot ziggety" near the end of Putt-Putt Joins the Parade!
An hour long video.... Do I dare ask what the file size was?
My favourite bit is where you are stuck on Checkers and you dance to the music with the mouse!!!!
What Humongous Entertainment Catalog is this?
