They are ok for 30-40 min, after that it hurts my external ear. The part that has the charging spots applies a small pressure on the external ear striations that cumulates over time.

I think it might be that your ears are not used to them yet, try them over a couple of weeks and I think you will get use to them

Remove the rubber that is fixed inside ears for comfort to avoid vacuum type of environment inside the ear.

I believe the AirPods are reasonably priced and appear to be quite comfortable. They're fantastic for running and other sports!!! But I'm sure I'll never use them for swimming or showering, hahaha!!
