Presidents traditionally attend the ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
That's because the military doesn't want a sitting president 2 be there. The military is considered neutral in the political realm. They have no favorable toward Democrats or Republicans. They shouldn't be used or be taken advantage 2 improve your image. Both parties honored and respect them that tradition 4 a long time until trump. And look what's happening now. Republicans and trump supporters got influenced that this is a glorious event. But Not knowing that our veteran heroes are being used. So it's kinda shameful 4 trump being there. As a veteran I would feel used cuz this event is for the military not 4 trump popularity 2 get votes..

It's not sad. It's called respect. Which they deserve. The military is neutral to the political realm. That's why if a sitting president attends , it would leave a bad representation towards them.Trump appearing there is distasteful. He's using this event and the veterans 2 improve his image . Now trump's gonna used this story 2 get more votes. Now that's sad..

That's because other presidents did something else for the troops or veterans. Nothing special about this but for photo ops.
I think most presidents went to Arlington Cemetery to pay their respects. But you gotta love a president that says, "In your face haters" and attends the parade he was intricately responsible for it's continuation.
