this is one of the most thoughtfully composed songs i've heard and i'm not exaggerating in the slightest - forgive me for the music-theory-ness (classical musician here lol) but i'm so in love with your harmonies, 6/8 time signature which i feel like is so rare in pop music, the middle section that reads like a cadenza and rightfully so, and your lyricism is just so crazy good. all is to say i'm obsessed and please keep writing music

The olive branch versus the whole tree is cool from the outset. I loved the bit about the root of issues or are you the one that I tied them on too. The melody is cool and impressive.
