Got a good deal on someone else’s homebuilt mover. Works well. I can move 5x5 bales with a Sears Suburban 12 garden tractor, though it looked a bit sketchy to take them down our hill, so I use the family sedan instead. Works like a charm!
Great job. May put an idler pulley on the cross member and run the cable through it. That could lift the bale higher and possibly take some of the negative weight off tractor drawbar.
I love it! I t would cost a small fortune to walk in to a tractor dealership, and stroke a check for factory made implements to perform the same function. Great fab skills!
Hi friend Although I've watched your fishing videos, I didn't comment on them because I don't understand anything about it and I don't have the patience to dedicate myself.... But you have returned with tractors, steel and old things and I am very excited !!!! Once again you have found the beauty of simple things!!! This job has been fantastic, I love it.... My congratulations, my regards always to the whole family, and to the next project
I wish I was at the farm to check, but I'm pretty sure there's enough metal below the slot for the drawbar brackets to drill a hole. That way the drawbar will be lower to the ground and it won't move up and down like it does in the slot.
Great video brother thank you for Sharon have an idea idea put the spike on a center pippetGreat video brother thank you for Sharon have an idea idea put the spike on a center pivot Turn the bail tothe 3 o'clock position and you can unroll the bail
Put a pulley on the stabber end and anchor your cable somewhere by the winch. It will slow it down but double your power. Your winch is about to stall and the bale isn't froze to the ground......yet.

thanks
Great design. That’s awesome.
thanks
That tractor is crazy cool, and that hay spear would be great for those of us who only buy a bale at a time.
it does work well been using it
Very very nice that will be very handy around the farm!! Enjoy watching!
Yes, thank you
Great video and creativity.
thanks

their was enough metal to drill a hole but i just welded it up quick and easy works great
Been thinking about doing this with an old 2n I've had laying in the fence row for 20 plus years
might aswell

it has a block and tackle set up now
Great video
Thanks!
Only concern i have with one of these is pulling down road with no tounge weight. Think itd sway alot…. Do you have any experience with this?
no just use it on the farm
add pully will make easier on winch or block and tackle.
ended up using block and tackle i will have to do an update video but it does work great
I've hand cranked alot of bales on a setup similar to that
electric winch is nice havent regretted using it
