i feel like this song is a pov of inaho's friends seeing and questioning inaho's way of doing things and trying to understand him for eg in the first verse, his friends want to know how is inaho not scared even though he is a teen like them... 2nd verse - they want to share inaho's sadness to get to know how he is feeling and thus being able to understand him

All this OST it's amazing, as always with Sawano Hiroyuki. The first season was such a good suprise, incredible character development, incredible twist, incredible strategies... and then the second season that I'm still trying to forget that existed.

I just like that it had a rounded story, interesting enough characters, fights. Each count was interesting with unique personalities and techniques in the mech battles. And, the anime actually has an ending, and one that doesn’t end in some cliche, which is already more than a lot of other shows can say.

Don't care what everyone says... this anime is amazing. Some of the most complex and interesting characters I've ever seen, and the cinematography and action scenes are just beautiful. The pacing is also on-point. Not to mention the music. So damn underrated...
f m I wish. In the internet, I've hardly seen any praise for this series - mostly critique. Most people on the internet seem to dislike this. And even its fans seem to dislike half the content. Either Slaine or Inaho is usually absolutely hated, and the ending (which I thought was epic beyond measure) is almost universally seen as bad, which I simply think it doesn't deserve.
This was Inaho first attack song because he found out how to beat the first orbital knight which inaho was a freaking amazing on how he knew exactly how to defeat the orbital knight
It really felt like they're going through hail of shells, missiles and lasers where no one is safe after he got hit by that. They only survived due to the chaff and mech balloon-decoys but still a lot of pilots die from descending towards the martian steel castle tower.
Thats what Rayet said to the princess when they needed to destroy the cameras that let ''dude i dont rememebr his name'' see, and Inaho found his weak point an all, such a good episode

Simple, right? **Nods adorably** *Rolls down window and aims grenade launcher* 3:27…Right now **BOOM!** Somehow this scene has been scrubbed from the entire web and I can’t find it anywhere, but it was easily the coolest moment in the show before it all went to shit in Season 2.
Honestly, there are some mangas that deserve to be more famous and some even have GODLIKE OST. I just finished 86 Eighty-Six. That one and Aldnoah Zero has some of the best ost's i've listen to in a while. There are many more but just those two are my favorite. Use this one to play War thunder.
My only problem with Suwano is that his OST's tend to have the same sound across the board. They're very good but they tend to share a sound. He did AoT, Seven Sins, Promare, ALDNOAH and a lot of Gundam and if you listen to them they all sound awesome but if you realllllly listen it starts to become clear they sound a lot alike. He basically just adds futuristic synth or medieval instrumentation as needed. Like I by no means dislike him but I do think there are more creative artists who you'd never know did the same OST's but when Suwano does an OST you know within minutes its him.

Honestly after 4 years since I finished this anime, I still cannot understand why people are hoping for an egois ship/love. It is just my point of view, you can agree or disagree, but try to see it from the political perspective. If the princess end up with Inaho/Slain, would the war have ended like the princess wanted? She needs a person who has power and the same vision as her, her choice is ultimately correct. And one more, it is not a romance anime.
I was pretty satisfied with the end, also, they're teens, young love always is confusing. I kinda like the fact it turns out this way, feels way more grounded and shows artistic integrity rather then just the common hero gets the girl trope.
Well for me it feels dull, but it somewhat satisfied me, though i just hope they would add some more episodes to fulfill that loss, since if Slain died, it might fix it at the end when he crashed down to earth, but he managed to survive so- that would have a chance of a 2nd season somewhat since not all martians died. But yeah- they wouldn't and i feel like they don't too since it would just drag on a continuous like the Gundam franchise, since Gundam is a long term, long wars and continuous world building is necessary, but this is not an interdimensional war yet. Ending the franchise there was a good move and for that i am glad that it didn't drag out and turn into a bad show.
It was probably more of the execution than anything else. The entirety of the second season felt unnatural, as though even the characters were actors just following a script. The story never made the viewers feel like there was an actual war(because no one died so there was no tension and they didn’t show how normal people were scraping by and the effects of war) or that the princess actually had a purpose because she’s been passive the whole show. That and how many miscellaneous details were included that amounted to nothing by the end like how the girl who hated Martians before released the guy and didn’t snitch but by the end her character didn’t change much if at all. Another important point is that Inaho basically had no purpose. Throughout the second season he was focused on rescuing the princess and it wasn’t even clear what he was trying to do so people just thought he was trying to get with the princess. People probably just wanted it to be neatly tied up like your average cookie cutter shounen and forget entirely because it was already so generic it might as well insist the job.
because it came out of nowhere, kinda making "drama" in the last episode of the first season is unnecessary. if their relationship is a little more explored, then it would be a satisfying ending. and inaho is the only one that seemingly has intimate relationship, as I remember, he is the only one that calls princess using casual nicknames (seylum).
It literally makes less sense for her to be married to a also mars noble. It would have been even politically more advantages foe her to marry Inaho. The princess of mars marrying humanities greatest warrior during the war literally does way more to unite the 2 civilizations than marrying another mars political figure. Thats why its so fucking stupid even given the feelings they have for each other
Ahh yes, Inaho does something badass theme... then in S2 he gets what reads as the Friggin ZERO System installed in his brain... my fellow Gundam Wing fans know what I mean there
I wish Hiroyuki Sawano was more ambitious because he is very capable but the lyrics are nonsensical. If he hires a good lyricist for his amazing music he will undoubtedly attain international recognition for his soundtracks. Attack on titan and Aldnoah Zero has some crazy good soundtracks

Don't care what everyone says... this anime is amazing. Some of the most complex and interesting characters I've ever seen, and the cinematography and action scenes are just beautiful. The pacing is also on-point. Not to mention the music.

f m I wish. In the internet, I've hardly seen any praise for this series - mostly critique. Most people on the internet seem to dislike this. And even its fans seem to dislike half the content. Either Slaine or Inaho is usually absolutely hated, and the ending (which I thought was epic beyond measure) is almost universally seen as bad, which I simply think it doesn't deserve.

Honestly, there are some mangas that deserve to be more famous and some even have GODLIKE OST. I just finished 86 Eighty-Six. That one and Aldnoah Zero has some of the best ost's i've listen to in a while. There are many more but just those two are my favorite.

My only problem with Suwano is that his OST's tend to have the same sound across the board. They're very good but they tend to share a sound. He did AoT, Seven Sins, Promare, ALDNOAH and a lot of Gundam and if you listen to them they all sound awesome but if you realllllly listen it starts to become clear they sound a lot alike. He basically just adds futuristic synth or medieval instrumentation as needed. Like I by no means dislike him but I do think there are more creative artists who you'd never know did the same OST's but when Suwano does an OST you know within minutes its him.

used to listen to this a lot, it was really awesome
Honestly after 4 years since I finished this anime, I still cannot understand why people are hoping for an egois ship/love. It is just my point of view, you can agree or disagree, but try to see it from the political perspective. If the princess end up with Inaho/Slain, would the war have ended like the princess wanted? She needs a person who has power and the same vision as her, her choice is ultimately correct. And one more, it is not a romance anime.
I was pretty satisfied with the end, also, they're teens, young love always is confusing. I kinda like the fact it turns out this way, feels way more grounded and shows artistic integrity rather then just the common hero gets the girl trope.
Well for me it feels dull, but it somewhat satisfied me, though i just hope they would add some more episodes to fulfill that loss, since if Slain died, it might fix it at the end when he crashed down to earth, but he managed to survive so- that would have a chance of a 2nd season somewhat since not all martians died. But yeah- they wouldn't and i feel like they don't too since it would just drag on a continuous like the Gundam franchise, since Gundam is a long term, long wars and continuous world building is necessary, but this is not an interdimensional war yet. Ending the franchise there was a good move and for that i am glad that it didn't drag out and turn into a bad show.
It was probably more of the execution than anything else. The entirety of the second season felt unnatural, as though even the characters were actors just following a script. The story never made the viewers feel like there was an actual war(because no one died so there was no tension and they didn’t show how normal people were scraping by and the effects of war) or that the princess actually had a purpose because she’s been passive the whole show. That and how many miscellaneous details were included that amounted to nothing by the end like how the girl who hated Martians before released the guy and didn’t snitch but by the end her character didn’t change much if at all. Another important point is that Inaho basically had no purpose. Throughout the second season he was focused on rescuing the princess and it wasn’t even clear what he was trying to do so people just thought he was trying to get with the princess. People probably just wanted it to be neatly tied up like your average cookie cutter shounen and forget entirely because it was already so generic it might as well insist the job.
because it came out of nowhere, kinda making "drama" in the last episode of the first season is unnecessary.
if their relationship is a little more explored, then it would be a satisfying ending. and inaho is the only one that seemingly has intimate relationship, as I remember, he is the only one that calls princess using casual nicknames (seylum).
It literally makes less sense for her to be married to a also mars noble. It would have been even politically more advantages foe her to marry Inaho. The princess of mars marrying humanities greatest warrior during the war literally does way more to unite the 2 civilizations than marrying another mars political figure. Thats why its so fucking stupid even given the feelings they have for each other

I wish Hiroyuki Sawano was more ambitious because he is very capable but the lyrics are nonsensical. If he hires a good lyricist for his amazing music he will undoubtedly attain international recognition for his soundtracks. Attack on titan and Aldnoah Zero has some crazy good soundtracks
