I would put the squishies up high so kids cant reach them and print a sign that say kids need to have a parent in the booth AND You break it You buy it!
@@CrochetEhCanada I think I may resort to something like that! I wanted to give people some chances but nothing else seems to work lol I only had one break at this event but it would be better if none broke haha
As a vendor, to such a big group of children you could say politely, if you are not buying anything, please do not touch them. Look, but do not touch. Thanks for sharing. :)
@@Jean-dk2xl thank you for the advice! I feel bad telling people not to touch as I know they are cute and snuggly, but it may just have to come to that with big groups!
The cotton washcloths sold well in the 1980s but they were a pain to dry and could get a little yucky. Some seniors still like these as gifts, but there aren’t many seniors around. I see updated patterns that take a washcloth and bunch it on the end of a stem to make a flower. I see another pattern that sews a few washcloths together to make placemats or farm house table runners. Maybe it is just to repackage / rebrand it. Too, you could have mystery bags - $30 of market value items for $10. Just stuff you want the price of the yarn back on. There could be little games of chance. A box with curling ribbon coming out of it. Pay to play. Pull a ribbon and win a prize. Like Go Fish at birthday parties. Or you could have an assortment of playing cards on a board. They pay a flat rate, pick a card and are awarded the corresponding prize. Maybe if there are three different prize points, the spade card prizes are $5 for small prizes. The diamonds $10 for medium prizes. The hearts $15 for large prizes. In Asian countries, games of chance skyrocketed spending. Ever been to Ardene’s and purchased a $5 loot bag? Fun! Then you start thinking about who you can re-gift most of the items to 😂
