I did switch back, heated grips and shifter pegs and the switchback foot pegs for my highway pegs. I haven’t done the floorboards yet. Let me know how you like them after you get some miles on them.
@@ProfessionalMonkey Thanksgiving Day is tomorrow and I have to say that I’m thankful that when I fell roughly 15’ off a ladder while cutting a tree branch, I didn’t get impaled by the chainsaw I was using and was still running when I fell. I broke 4 ribs on my right side and the humerus bone in my upper right arm, immediately making me a temporary lefty(that was in early August)! I managed to get an infection in October that has had me in the hospital and now two extended care facilities for IV antibiotics and I’m getting physical therapy, I’ve also lost 42.7lbs since October 16th(initially because the aromas of many food items just made me want to hurl and I’m still experiencing that to some degree. The good thing about all of this is that I’m getting better(still won’t be able to ride till at least the early part of the riding season in Ohio), but I’m not getting better at a pace I’d like to be getting better at. As soon as I am remotely capable, I’m gonna work on pulling the “tins” off my bike to have a guy, who does good pinstripe work, redo the pinstripes that are on my bike and to paint them on parts that got damaged when I dropped the bike early spring of this year. My mom used to always say that I was/am an accident looking for a place to happen, sometimes I think I still go out of my way to prove her right. She’s no longer here, but she’s still watching over me and I’m thankful that I know she’s still there even though I can’t see her! I’m also thankful that I found your channel 3 or 4 years ago and I get to live vicariously through you, your family, and your videos!
Good call on the floorboards. They look sharp. The little pegs are from the offroad world. Not sure why they moved over. Totally agree bout quality parts. You get what you pay for.
I'm gonna be that person. The majority of HD cost more / better quality, but they have lemons, and not the lemonade kind. I have a great (but long) HD heated grip story. 'So easy any one can install them, why pay a dealer'. Short version, Grips $350 (on sale), wire harness $198. 1 hour to "install". I installed the grip side, ran wires under tank, then had my dad wire the harness to the battery. Another 3.5 hours to figure out why they didn't work. Apparently the red hot wire going to the in line fuse of the grips wires doesn't need to be connected to the fuse box?!?!?! Seriously my dad found a 2" gap in the wires, he spliced and remove a couple feet of wire so there was less to tidy up. Grips are awesome now!! Told you it was long. Laughed so hard at the upside down snow shoe description. and the collection looks super. Laugh even when you want to yell, then ride it away.
I almost bought a Shovelhead Police once upon a Time but bought a 67 Camaro I kept for 15 years, shame Santa won't be leaving that under my tree this Year. Stoked to hear Little Monkey loving her lessons and SG a very Special Dad bought for her, Happy Thanksgiving Monkeys
I wish they would come back with the floorboards with the molded rubber harley emblem. They think they are gold on flea bay. Dieing for a set for my heritage
I love it when people complain about HD part costs. I Mean, you knew what you were in for when you bought the bike. Don't like it, go buy a 250 Shadow!
Glad you are feeling better!! I'm fighting it now, also from my wife. Makes me wonder what I was thinking, but I digress. Your air guitar is solid but how's the, real guitar? Or did you sell it?
Saw the title and my brain registered it as "Spent $1000 at the Harley Store, got foot controls." I then thought, $1K for HD foot controls...sounds right.
Saw a RUclipsr pull up to a stop, got his boot lugs hung on the spikey floor board and couldn’t put his foot down at the stop. Yep, fell over and went down! Those upside down snow shoes are pretty dumb.
I bought a new 21 SGS and I like the Kahuna collection and I bought it all. I wish kahuna would have something for the airfilter that I have. I also ditched all the rear lights i put bag lights facia lights plug lights led lic plate and the magic strobe. Bike looks great also ditched the bars got 12 in I am done customizing my bikes color is Snake venom
Us dedicated unsupported EVO and older riders go past the dealerships without even a look. Nothing to see there, folks. RIP HD Inc and their ghinese accessories and their offshore sub-assemblies. F Jochen, FVVT, FCVO. We bow our heads and solemnly remember Sears, another American icon ruined by corporate greed. Craftsman tools were also made in ghina in their final 2 years. You defensive poser Karens just sit tight and wait for your recall notice from Hardley D.
I agree, that Harley stuff may cost a lot, but the quality is outstanding.

They’re the same ones as the ST so a good size.
I spent $1000 at the Harley Dealership.
My first thought was a couple shirts and a coffee mug.
Never bought a mug at Harley dealer. I just buy mine at Walmart and put a Harley And tail of the dragon stickers on it.
😂😂😂😂😂
Be careful, Ride safe.
LOL OMG I had a similar thought. Reminded me of the Meme "You won $8000 but have to spend it all in one place, where do you go?" Harley Dealer!
Love the VGG quote, and the channel. Been following you for a good while now and love the don't care what you think attitude about it.
Awesome! Thank you!

I enjoyed the video Monkey. Looking forward to the next live!
Cool stuff brotha 😎 Love the golf cart 👍
I put Willie G floor board inserts and brake pedal and shifter peg. So that was great and not crazy money

In my best Wayne's World voice: " Stairway....denied!"
Were not worthy!
Spend 300, you spent a G, you should have walked away with 3 clocks by my math!
Probably only 2 clocks. You can't split the floorboards into two sales.
I wish they would come back with the floorboards with the molded rubber harley emblem. They think they are gold on flea bay. Dieing for a set for my heritage
Nice products. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
You would think HD would have the best quality accessories, seeing they have a whole motor company behind them...
They are not bad, and can be the beat, but the quality and performance should always be perfect..
I’m glad to see I’m not the only one who uses their trash can lid as a shop table 😂😂.
It’s super convenient, even the best height.
Maybe we need to pass this wisdom on to the trash can companies, so they can make the lids a little more flat.
I will agree there products are very durable compared to the cheaper stuff for sure
Have a great Thanksgiving 🦃 Monk!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours and keep the fun videos coming!
Could "Red Reach" be short for "REDuced Reach"? And is the shovel cop bike coming home soon?
Looks good Monk, the new board and peg really suit the bike vs the stock ones. Cheers from the Great White North.

Real guitar sucks but still fun… 😂
"You Do You, Boo Boo"!!!! LMFAO!!!!
Now you need to swap out that shift linkage.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING !! 🦃

Doesn’t advanblack make floorboards?

Bubble burst: its a disposable money pit.
Looks good and Happy Thanksgiving
It’s Harley Davison a Grand is just a very tiny start
The handle bars need to be changed next. Thrashin Supply, or Krause to be proper.....
My first thought from the title is that you must have bought a gas cap from the dealership.😂
I want one of those clocks to repaint but I can't get one because I work at a dealership
You know something is expensive when they leave the price tag off. Noticed that at the dealership last month.
Hundreds of dollars ! I spent enough to get the tank clock also
Hi da Monk, you kept going on about the free clock , but you didn't show it.
That is a ton of money
@@Bikerbug2020 not in motorcycle parts it’s not!
Are all the Screaming Eagle parts from China?
1000 bucks…..What did you buy? A T-shirt and hat?? 😂
Change the Shifter Rod!
Yep and oil change 😂. Chit bag dealers. At least they are dropping like flies. Thankfully we have a strong aftermarket
Why didn’t you split the purchases and get two clocks? Get the wife to buy some.. just saying… Then you could have given one to us great followers
That spiked shit is so over played, every one in Vancouver BC,runs that style..
$1000, so you got a key ring and a wallet
1k at the dealership? 2 valve stems, gas cap, and an oil dip stick. 😂
You can use artist share which lets you use real music but the artist get a portion of the money your video makes.

Why do pigs wear lipstick?
Her mom's passed and no sister, guess ill just have to proposition her daughter.
$980 for oem stuff... sheesh. Aftermarket is better
