I would fully support American-made drone product if those products were on the same level as DJI’s product. So far, they are not. It is very backwards to me compared to how I things were growing up. Things made in China had been considered inferior in material and quality. this is not the case with DJI drones. 3DR was inferior, Skydio was inferior, and really, FLIR’s SIRAS is inferior. There is a reason I’ve had four DJI drones and no others. I’ve flown the others and just was not convinced they were better. It really baffles me that this is the state of things. Skydio knew they were going this route when they abandoned the consumer market and are now pushing to eliminate their competition. Dirty pool.

If a ban does somehow go through would the current models that DJI has still be sold in the United States? All the information I have read/heard mentions then the FCC would not issue allowance on new models.

They are all succumbed to the ravages of greed and will do anything for profit.)

Great thought but the problem with that is that no other country in the world has a problem with any of this. They would have to make products only for the US and separate models for the rest of the world. Not sure it that would be realistic. And as of right now DJI can't get access to American Made Chip sets to meet the BLUE LIST requirements that states all parts have to be manufactured in the US.

I think the biggest caveat is that any Chinese enterprise or product must under Chinese law have the ability to allow access to the Chinese government. Hence the national security issue. This really makes my day because it's really infuriating to think that these politicians that don't have a clue will set the American consumer back by outlawing the best drones in the world and denying us access! If they want united States drone manufacturing to take off, or even be able to compete, they need to pump some of the billions of dollars they take in taxes into it and realize that this is not the way!! They say that it's unfair that China has pumped money into their drone market but if you ask me, they should take a lesson from China and do the same with the American drone industry!! And they should be betting on a different company than skydio because no real drone enthusiasts are ever gonna give them a penny after this stunt! We have bigger problems to deal with in this country. I love my drones. If I thought Imy flying was a threat, I would stop..

Great news I seriously think this would have been a huge mistake to deny future building drones. Butt at this point leave DJI as number one and let them continue. An American should be working on building better drones and then able to market the better.

I'm not voting against people that will actually fix this country over some drone. Lmao. I'd go back to building drones before I did that.

Do not forget that traitor's name, Elise Stefanik. She would rather her good buddies at Skydio succeed at our detriment. All of our investment in equipment means nothing if she can get her buddies propped up for success. To hell with an entire industry. Free market? hahahahah
