Really nice explanation and tutorial, i've been playing with Keyboard for the entirety of my T7 playtime and doing KBD used to be nightmare for me, i didn't use this technique personally because i did the actual db input manually and the muscle memory is just there, but really well made video nonetheless. keep it up man👍
For SOCD kbd, only a single f input is required. Try it like this: B(hold),f,d,f,d,f,d,f... Keep in mind that you need to be precise when doing this, only pressing either d or f and any one time to do it correctly.
@@TITANia69420 you want to make sure both the d and f input is as short as possible, but this takes some practice, to get you started just open a metronome app, set the tempo to 160 bpm and alternate between d and f whilst holding b
@@Meminjo I'm not really having trouble with the d and f input, just the Backdash Cancel timing. Do I cancel the Backdash immediately after initiating it or wait until the Backdash completes/covers distance?
Really good video, I appreciate you going so in depth to explain the shortcut. The latter half was weird and has the pretentious video essay vibe though
I've been playing Tekken 7 for over a year. I main Lars and managed to get him to yaksa but still I can't master this technique. I play on a controller so I wonder if its easier do this using a stick or keyboard
I ask some people who play on pads and then try on the keyboard, and some of them have mixed reactions. But if I have to say it is much easier to do KBD on Hitbox/Mixbox
YOOOO THE QUALITY OF THE AUDIO IS INSANELY GOOD

I never knew, thx fo the tip BTW
Naa it's too imprecise that way, the one in the video is much better
I need to know if I should absolutely machinegun D -> F cycle, or wait 'till the backdash is complete before I press another D -> F. Need some help.

Well I was looking for something similar hitbox on sports and the corked bat was the first thing that came to my mind
i still dont get it, how do you do a kbd ? you didnt explain... always wasting my time
You probably wasted more time commenting this drivel than watching this video. Do better.

@@Sanryuji Well thats a bummer. I've stopped playing tekken 7 given that 8 comes out next year. Hopefully movement is better.
