In India, we read about the struggle of Africa and Shri Nelson Mandela Ji in class 10th. We learnt about the national anthem, 'Nkosi Sikelela i Afrika' and were touched to hear it. Marvellously performed and will forever stay in my heart.
I have a choir festival on Monday and we’re singing the same exact song same version at NG church Weltervieden The choirs name is Amanzini Choir And the choir is from Gustav Preller Primary
I can imagine how proud UNkulunkulu is of his chosen nation (Nguni - Zulu Nation), Praise be to Shembe (UNkulunkulu), and may his will be done to his children and I pray that he blesses this young generation abundantly. Do stop guys UNkulunkulu is listening from Ezulwini.
Nice song but the colonies actually advanced Africa if you believe it or not. Not to say what they did was right but this anti-colonial movement is pretty useless because the colonisers are gone for long and additionally African countries corruption is only to blame on themselves. Tackle corruption and do not blame on the colonies. It is not helpful.
It's easier for you to assume that. You have no idea the after effects of colonisation. You have no idea that this colonisation created this evil system that has caused equality. White minority is still more better off financially and you know it. Corruption started the day when our forefathers were stripped off everything and you know it. We are dealing with post war. You guys refuse to even apologize till today. So yes the current government is corrupt but we also know that they still bow down to the British. When these kids are singing like that, it's how we are healing for you have no idea how self hate has inflicted us because of colonisation. You can talk all the you want be the truth is the truth
Imagine l come and took over your house and then designed a game and only made the rules to ensure that l win. Then you force my hand to let you play so that you can get your house back then l do let you play except l don’t tell you the rules of the game. You try to play the game but you die trying to win and your kids also try to play but worse still can’t win. Then your great grandkids start to thank me for taking over your house in the first place because they think l made the house better meanwhile they don’t remember how the house looked before l took over because I told them that you were illiterate and knew nothing meanwhile you were actually the one who taught me Maths, Science and Religion
I guess this is the narrative you need to tell yourself in order to rationalise the havoc that colonialism wrecked on this continent. Colonialism is and has been beneficial to people of European decent. It paid no mind to people of African decent. You chose to look up key words that landed you here and instead of simply listening and hearing the voices of real people with real stories, you jump into the comments to spew your views based on stories written to push a narrative that simply is not true. You cannot dictate to people what their lived experiences are. Stop trying to window dress colonialism and hide it behind corruption, because the most corrupt thing to have ever happened to Africa was the greed of your fore fathers who stripped Africa naked of her resources.
'colonies actually advanced Africa...' At what cost? What is your definition of 'advance?' 'who sowed the seeds of corruption and discord? Please think before you make stupid comments

"Nice song" is the best you could do before you got into the point you really came here to push, shameful, nx.
