The 5 shot mag will probably be the reason i won’t choose the ar before the virant. The 308 looks promising though.
Yes kinda of dumb, a good amount of states don’t have a round limit. Just make it 10-15 round mag

To be honest, I think I'm going to stick to the old 22 for geese. 5 shots just doesn't seem like enough to take out those big flocks of geese.
Sometimes JUST SOMETIMES whenever I wake up early from a day off this is what I like to see before I eat breakfast in the afternoon(yes I work the graveyard shift lol) hope everyone’s day of going good!
Hey flinter can u do a wild boar or pig hunt with the new 308 ar. Sounds fun. Also can u see if the new crosshair works with the recurve, if it does it should make recurve hunting more fun because it won't be so hard
Recurve hunting is fun because of its difficulty though..
@@avkkankan yeah but for me I don't recurve hunt at all because of how hard it is. Maybe its because I play on consol but I find it unreasonable hard
@@avkkankan to be fair you could turn it off if you want to keep the difficulty I think
I've recently have been using it stay within Thirty yards Works amazing
@@avkkankan they took all the difficulty away when they turned the arrow into a crossair. irl you dont use an aiming point, you just point and shoot, using nothing but hand eye coordination. instinct.

Hi flinter I love the vids! I have a question though, can you do a video comparing the 308 and the 7mm? 308 has more penetration but I feel that the 7mm has more out in the field. Would love a comparison video similar to the ones you used to do!

With what I am seeing as far as consistency goes, I think I might stick with the .22 Virant purely because I’ve hunted with it so much that I know where to shoot and can bring a whole flock down. But again, it might just take some time with the zarza to get used to it and achieve the same results as you would with the Virant.
If the geese are actually fixed then that's pretty much all this up-coming update needs and I'll be beyond thrilled. Everything else is lagniappe.
It feels like we’ve been asking “are the goose actually fixed” for years lmao hopefully they won’t continue to break in the future
Any plans on doing a similar video with ducks? I sure hope that the ducks will be sorted out as well cause I’ve never had a chance of doing proper duck hunting.

I actually got a Diamond Brown Hybrid, while the geese were broken. Good to see them come in again though

did you see scarecrow got a great one whitetail on rancho about 250 kills into the pop reset but he was 4500 kills into the total grind. it gives me hope that your progress will still be there for the great one red deer.

Hey flinter! I know you are much better than me in call of the wild, but what I know is that gray goose is way more rare than brown hybrid and you didn’t taks that but you did on a brown hybrid goose

Yes, the shotgun recoil management applies to all guns

@@jakesoros2376 Just grind, it's not like shotgun score where you need to use a shotgun, they are like skill points, every other level or so you get a perk point that you can put to recoil management

I have not been able to spot geese in the sky, nor have I been able to get them to land or shoot them out of the sky lately. So hopefully that will get fixed
What are the perks of using the AR, is it stronger than the virant?
Faster fire rate, and might weigh less, not for sure on that second one. If they give it 10 rounds or more it will be a better pick in my opinion.

I had a goose score 9.20 for score and kg but it shows up as 9.10 in the lodge which kinda sucks

My question though is that are the geese going to come in and work if you don’t have the goose hunting dlc? I think it’s kinda unfair for them to make it harder to hunt one of the animals on the map without having to purchase a dlc, especially when it’s one of the maps given to you after spending all that money on the game itself. Basically, I’d like to see how it works without decoys or anything from the dlc.
Pretty sure you have to have the goose dlc to hunt goose. But the good news is its only 4 dollareedoos!
They at least need to make a 10 round mag for the 22 AR

Aren't most standard AR Clips/Mags 20 to 30 Rounds?, and you can get extended Mags up to 100+ Rounds?
True, but they do make 5 and ten rounders for places that have mag restrictions.
What gets me is that the .22 LR comes with a 5 rounder, rather than a 10 round mag or 15 round mag it normally comes with.
Also, Missouri doesn't have any restrictions on magazine capacity for hunting, or restrictions on using machine guns :)

I think i will stick with the OG .22 since now the have made it good Compared to when it was released. But I really like the .308 alot almost too good. Looks like they reduced the money from them, golds use to be around 1100 and you were claiming them in the 700s.
.22lr insta-killed geese before the update too, so nothing has changed with that.
The best game was the Hunter Primal, hope one day they will make it as DLC

You are guaranteed that the flocks will come in when you have decoys

I personally don't hunt ducks in game with a .22 just because it's a federal offence in real life and I like sticking to realism. Plus realistically it would be extremely difficult to shoot a flying duck/goose with a .22

@Flinter okay thanks I am not sure why it's not. It's odd I am running decoys the caller and the ground blind but no geese

I hate the sound of those guns.. they need a bit more crack. It just sounds very un rewarding and clanky.. the 22h sounds like a 308 or something ridiculous and then this sounds like nothing.. is it supposed to be suppressed?
