- Hi guys and welcome back to another OMSI 2 Addon London episode!
Today we're driving the Dennis Trident ALX400, on the route 415 between Tulse Hill Gyratory and Bricklayers Arms, near Old Kent Road. We're driving in the snow today giving this episode a slightly more festive feel than some of the others. While framerates can take a hit when driving in the rain/snow, the ALX400 is a well performing bus so hopefully it will counter balance and we'll have a smooth ride.
So numpty here accidentally stopped the recording by hitting the "hotkey" so we missed out on the last two minutes of footage... hence why the video comes to a rather abrupt ending. However this is the end of the route so don't worry you've only missed out on Joe waffle.

Great ending Joe! I bet everyone skips the usual endings anyway, reminding me of how people used to try and charge out of the cinema at the end of the film so that they didn’t have to stand to attention for the national anthem! I believe the timings for some routes have been tweaked in the update according to something I read somewhere.

I see your vendetta against mini driving marketing executives continues unabated. Whatever have they ever done to you to deserve this uninhibited vengeance? Props for healthy contempt for your virtual passengers, shooting past bus stops and not letting them get off. You paid for a ride? You get the whole ride.
Bit of an abrupt ending though.
Oh don't get me started on the abrupt ending haha. I usually use the "-" on the numpad as the start/stop recording hotkey. But sadly this serves a function on the ALX400 so I had to change it to the enter key... then typed in a destination and clicked enter... not realising it chopped the end off the recording.

How do you get london blinds for the alx400? When I look it only gives me botw, cotterell and grundorf.

Greetings Joe! I don’t think I've said this before (maybe I have) but have you got the ZF mod for this by MB Workshop? If not you should definitely get it since you are a big ZF lover! Trust me, the ZF Trident mod will make you not want to stop driving it haha! I'd love to see you drive it some time hopefully in London 😀

Hey mate basically quick question - I’ve downloaded and unzipped the files for the bus and placed it in the Omsi 2 directory but it doesn’t appear when I go to load up a bus
Ooh that's a difficult one, what i'd try do if I were you is double check your OMSI directory and ensure it's in the correct folder. Sometimes for instance I extract to "Vehicles" and it randomly puts another "Vehicles" folder in the Vehicles folder if that makes sense so OMSI doesn't recognise it.
@@JoeDobsongaming Sure I’ll check that out now I think I didn’t put it in the vehicles folder this whole extraction stuff confuses me 😂😂
@@JoeDobsongaming and also , that download link : it only has like a script of what’s changed but doesn’t have any textures or vehicle files I didn’t know whether I downloaded the right file knowing me I’m well off
