This Whole Album is great from the first song to the last!! Larry O be spitting that stuff! K Def be hooking those real live hot beats up!! This is real Music!!! Take me back to freshman year in High School!!!
When I hear this album 27 years later, I consider it Donald Goines on Wax. Dope, dramatic, gritty, and theatrical, especially with the street tales told throughout the album.
Yoooo, this is still as sick as it was when I bought the single on cassette. I must freestyled over this a billion times and wrote at least a dozen songs off the instrumental.
Larry O and K-Def killed it with the semi glossy gansta style joint. That back spin isvwicked in the beginning. Play this now now with All City is crazy. Love track
I love the 90' underground/ Boom Bap the most. I completely missed this one back in the day. When I first heard this several years ago I was left in AWE and lost my shit! How dope this is! 😎
Bought this 12 inch when it came out.. Real Live Sh#t and crime is money single.. and I was blasted away ; ).. One of 10 copies at that time in germany

Still got my promo copy of this. Reminds me how we used to roll back in the day. Flash cars with tinted windows. Giant subs in the back. We'd roll out with multiple cars to go and rock a show. I really, really need to pull my finger out and start making tunes again.
This song brings so many memories back. I remember I heard this beat actually a long time ago in the 90s during an Eminem battle. Thats right I was there back before Eminem was famous and battling cats. I think later on Em had the dude he battled in his crew. I miss those underground days in the 90s.
@@turk3sh I found a footage that I was talking about. Type in: ''Rare Eminem Underground Rap Battle (1996 Hip Hop Shop)'' I was there during the battle. I use to go to a lot of these and saw Em battling cats multiple times. This was before his Slim Shady tapes. This is the only footage I've seen from that day. Unfortunately I cannot find a lot of footages from back in the days cause Em was not that popular and not everyone had a video recorder during battles.
@@turk3sh oh right i see now. I dont know if Em battle Proof. He probably did more like friendly practice. Ive seen him battle other D12 and ex D12 members though.
Real Live is slept on and it aint right, K Def makes straight neck snap beats while Larry-O spits just match how hard the beats slap. Its sad that some of the best are never really out there like they deserve, but then again, some of our best rappers and producers dont want to sign to big labels due to the funny stunts they pull and the fact you lose control of your life. They probably wouldnt be making music the same if they did sign to a big label with a rule book the size of a bible. But the love for REAL hip hop, keeps us connected to the real ones. I honor these 2 for taking control of there life and making it like they did! Sometimes its not about the biggest name on the cover, its about making that music and being in control of yourself while doing it!
