The Camon 30 series is shaping to be Tecno's most improved devices yet. The Camon 30 Premier is the highest of the series but it will launch later in the year. Powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 8200U, and Sony's IMX890 sensor, Tecno aims to pull more users to their Camon series. But are these enough to make for a better user experience? This is a detailed review of the Tecno Camon 30 Pro 5G.

Love review. I've always loved tecno phones
You get great cameras for all situations, 4k@30/60fps on both selfie and main camera, performance for everything, reliable charging speed, IR blaster (for those who find it useful), Dolby Atmos, AMOLED display with 144hz refresh rate and sufficient bright.
If we have the "flagship-killer" category, now we have the "premium midrange-killer" and Tecno Camon 30 Pro 5G is the current boss! Let's see later when the Premier variant comes out to play.

How slim is the bezels as compared to the Camon 20
does this have the option to switch to 1080p instead of 1.5k
A decade ago, it would have been unfathomable to suggest that Tecno phones would command prices comparable to Samsung devices. All we can hope for now is for a new brand to come and claim the pocket friendly market share, as that segment is dead and gone!

By the way, I have an issue I need your assistance with. The 5g of my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra does not work at all, even in locations with 5g coverage, such as Lagos and Kwara. Please, anyway you could decipher what the problem is? I have seen a few users with the same issues too, and they also don't know why it won't work despite the phone having it.

Nice job. Good review as always. Personally, seems Infinix and Tecno are going in the right direction with there recent devices. Kindly compare with the Infinix Note 40 Pro. If only the Camon 30 series had the wireless charge function
Id argue that wireless charging isn't really as necessary as the tecnos features

1. 8200 Ultra vs 8200 Ultimate
2. Solid main cam, but Camon has better selfie.
3. IP68 vs no IP (Camon works fine on spray and even dropped into water)
4. NFC
5. 4 yr support vs (possibly) 2yr.
6. AI features on both, but Camon has more variety.
7. No SD card + headphone jack, but nowadays that's no longer a problem with a solid dongle and Camon has the advantage of 512GB.
8. Solid display, speaker audio and connectivity.

Review oppo Reno 11F or F25 pro. They are same.
That's how they will be promising software update the same way they promised for the camon 20 series, yet only the premier got the update.. If it's only the premier that's getting the update, they should make it clear from the beginning instead of making the users of the other camon 20 series to be expectant. So please tecno should clarify us.. Should I still expect Android 14 on my tecno camon 20?

The major difference is the processor and the some camera specs. Otherwise they're slightly the same. I'm using the regular Camon 30

Why all new phones dont have sd card slots they did a huge blunder by not giving sd card slot in new phones its not about 256gb or 512gb they should have gave sd card slots in their phones 🤨

It offers 24GB of RAM and 512GB of storage for a good value Price . I expect the Tecno Camon 30 Premier to be priced between 600k and 700k for the 512GB variant, but the 1TB model will likely be more expensive than the A55 and comparable to the Samsung S23FE.”
