Wouldn't the peanut butter used for bait contain more calories, protein, sugar and fat than the chipmunk?

I would rather go somewhere where there is something better to eat than mice, rats, or squirrels, and rabbits; those things aren't kosher. In my opinion venison , mountain goats, pheasant, grouse, or duck, or geese, or fish with fins and scales would be healthier choices of prey. If I went somewhere and the only thing there to eat were rodents, I would feel I was in an accursed God-forsaken place and hope and pray to be guided to somewhere where there is something fit for human consumption that can be found to sustain us.

What if you were in an emergency situation?? Where you have no choice in the matter. Now what?? What you're going to do is make the best of the situation you are in and do what you can to survive.

After Jesus fasted and got hungry Satan showed up to tempt him to turn a rock into bread, he didn't do it. I shouldn't fall for the temptation to compromise my morals just because I may be hungry, if you faint in the time of adversity your strength is not much. If you actually are one of God's begotten children He will not suffer you to hunger in the time of famine if you persevere in the faith. The body is more than food and clothes, pagans worry over such things. Seek first the kingdom of The Lord and all these things shall be added unto you verily, verily I say unto you.@@jameshall5784

@user-kx9mt1kb5k Peter had a vision of all sorts of animals and a white cloth that dropped from heaven and the Lord said unto him arise kill and eat. He said I've never put anything unholy to my lips Lord. The Lord said to him if God made it it is not unholy!! Your body is a temple and you should take care of it. Eating is a necessity for life as is water. If you don't do either you will die. Water is more important than food but both are necessary for life.

Jesus also said not washing your hands doesn't make the food that enters your mouth unclean, but He didn't run out and say let's all go out and eat bacon and pork chops and shrimp on the bar-b to the apostles and disciples. As the Logos [the Word of God] that became flesh John 1:1-3, 14 , Jesus is the one who gave the Levitical and Deuteronomical laws to Moses ,which include the 10 Commandments and food Laws. Jesus is the same yesterday ,today , and for ever Hebrews 13:8 , He never ate unclean meats and never will, and would never go against his own laws or advise us to either. The vision Peter had was for him to not reject the gentiles being called by God and call them unclean ,for they did eat what was unclean. People out of every nation, tribe or tongue can be called to Christ and salvation , but it requires repentance from former ways [change] and living with a moral compass based on God's laws and commandments, along with baptism and the laying on of hands, keeping the 7TH day Sabbath and God's Biblical Holy Days. These are my answers for my hope in Christ.@@jameshall5784

He who breaks the least of God's Commandments [ laws/rules] and teaches others to do so will be considered least in the kingdom of God; he who keeps even the least of God's commandments [laws/rules] and teaches others to do so will be considered great in the kingdom of God.
