Just wanted to correct you about the FX Loop. The original Rectos until the later Rev Fs, and since it's heavily based on the SLO preamp, have always been with a serial FX Loop. In the later Rev Fs and in the Rev G the FX Loop was made parallel. As for the Bold/Spongy - by lowering the voltages in the amp, HV B+ and bias - it "browns out" the whole amp and it becomes saggier. Same with the tube rectifier tubes - the amp becomes easier to push into sagging with a slight decrease in headroom. Since I am not sure which version they are actually reissuing - I am not able to tell if the recto tubes can be completely removed like early ones. As for the chrome plated chassis - it was a custom order option. Everything on the two channel Recto can be found on the Recto Guide page made by Fluff. Alongside with transformer numbers, serial ranges ect.
