7:22 ahhh the ol' BP on Pleasant Hill Road. That gas station is notorious for bike meets as well as car meets to set up races. Although the cops have been aggressive to shut down anything that looks like a meet (as you can see). They should just be glad that GSP wasn't there lol.

The mansfield guy was smart. I live near there. Most times if you act cool and respectful for cops, they wont give you a hard time and usually let you off with just a verbal as long as you didnt do anything too stupid.

Everyone in the first video needs to realize the court room is for arguing, not the traffic stop. Just take whatever ticket you have, show the video to a judge, and if you didn't drive reckless it will be thrown out. No need for a supervisor - which police do not need to call if you request - and no need to worry unless you did anything wrong. Afterwards file a complaint if you think the officer was unprofessional. It's not rocket science.

Been pulled over 3 times on a bike and twice in the car. Only ever got let off one in the car because I blew under after 15 minutes. Seems here they don't like letting people off, even for things that you would expect a warning and being educated.

Yeah buddy I'm sure that's exactly what the cop told ya.😂 What probably happened was the cop said if ya want to claim its a moped then it needs a moped plate, now that would be believable if it was indeed a moped, but you would also have to get a legal plate tags and all, not just slap any old plate on there and just go riding.🙄😂 Also You can ask for a supervisor but you have no federal or state constitutional right to make one come to the scene.

@@Camura- Google up *"are the police required to tell you why you've been pulled over"* and you'll find out they're not. They do have to have a legal reason for the stop should you end up in court but they don't have to tell it to you. Everything you need to know will be on the ticket. Court is where everything is decided. A cop can pull you over for a traffic offense and get your details and run them. Then that cop can return your docs and say have a nice day and let you leave without ever telling you the reason for the stop and that's legal as long as they can site a reason for the stop in court. It sounds like it shouldn't be the case, but it is.

Except the rider says he has everything on camera. If they were riding like idiots then the riders' own video would show that. Also, don't think that if the video does incriminate the riders, they can just say, "Oops, I accidentally deleted it" in court. That will be a sure way of getting another charge thrown at you.

To be fair there's no requirement to call a supervisor. If I was the cop and you did that I'd arrest you for obstruction or failure to ID to help supplement your RUclips law degree.

@@ALCLCFVIS In the US there are basically two forms of ID issued by the state, a driver's license or an ID card. You can get one or the other but not both. The driver's license _is_ the ID. It varies a little from state to state but generally when you sign for your driver's license you agree to present it to the cop on a traffic stop as a condition of the state issuing it. Some states will allow you to verbally tell the cop your name, address, and date of birth but that usually prolongs the stop as they look you up, get your picture and verify who you are. If you fail to ID you're violating several other laws and can be arrested.
1. There's no legal requirement for a cop to get a supervisor if you request one. Plus, who is the supervisor going to side with? Lawyer boy obviously got his law degree from RUclips so he should know from watching videos that asking for a supervisor rarely if ever goes your way. The supervisor will back the officer and tell you to settle it in court.
2. There's no legal requirement for a cop to even tell you why you're being pulled over. A cop can pull you over, get your details and give you a ticket without even speaking to you.
3. Court is not held at the traffic stop, that's literally what the court is for. If you disagree with the ticket you and the cop go in front of the judge and both present your evidence and the judge decides. Agruing with the cop is not going to get you anywhere and may reasult in more tickets or even an arrest.
@@Isaac_132 So youd arrest for no reason what so ever because there needs to be a reason to A) Get pulled over and B) to arrest. Cant get you for obstruction when there isnt a reason to obstruct IE articulate a crime that was committed. Your RUclips Lawenforcment accadamy failed you. @@tap9558 If a cop asks for your license and you don’t give it to him you’ve literally committed an offense. It might be failure to ID, obstruction or something but there’s an offense committed so you can be charged with that. If the cop asks again and you argue and fail to ID you can be charged with a second count because you just committed the offense again. Each time you fail to ID it’s another offense. The law literally works that way.
