    I literally just ordered one of these. They have it for 349 USD and includes a whopping 10 kilos of PLA for free. I also added the hardened nozzles. It's a bonkers deal and will serve as a nice companion next to my Creality Ender 3 S1 Pro and the Creality K1.

      Indeed, I think it is a decent offer for this price. Espically the deal that you got. But I will highly suggest to upgrade 5015 with better duct design.

    Let the printer preheat for a minute before leveling it doesnt heat up perfectly even but after a min its good and even mu printbed has a 0.1 mm max difference when preheated.

  • @Liberty4Ever

    I'm waiting for the Klipper version of the SV06 Plus, hopefully with a 4 conductor CANbus cable to the extruder instead of that big ribbon cable (what were they thinking?), and with improved part cooling on the extruder as well as a larger part cooling fan on the X gantry like the SV07. I'd also like to see an optical filament run out sensor on the top of the extruder. But mostly, I want an SV08 Plus that is the SV06 Plus with Klipper and better part cooling.

    • @SvgLau
      @SvgLau  Год назад +1

      I think they will have sv07 plus before sv08. I also guess they are working on a core xy printer as well, most likely going to have normal 220mm version and 300mm, but no news yet.

    • @Liberty4Ever
      @Liberty4Ever Год назад

      @@SvgLau - The SV07 surprised me. I was expecting an improved Klipper version of the SV06, but the SV07 was more cost reduced and a reversion to previous printers in many ways. I'm hoping the SV08 will be a deluxe bed slinger to compete with the real world performance of the core XY machines that mostly benefited in speed and print quality as a result of Klipper and not the core XY architecture. I thought I wanted to get an enclosed core XY machine to get back to printing ABS parts, but when my emotional response to the new core XY machines subsided and rational thought returned, I decided that I'd rather have a less expensive, reliable and easy to service bed slinger and I can convert my ABS parts to PETG so I don't need an enclosure.

    • @SvgLau
      @SvgLau  Год назад

      @@Liberty4Ever True, i3 structure just a lot eailer to work with. I think they are going to have sv06s Klipper upgrade kits come out. Sovol CS have been mention something relate to that on FB group for the past few days. So, I guess a Klipper screen like sonic pad? or maybe just the Klipper screen on sv07 with lower price tag. Which I think is what you want.

    • @Liberty4Ever
      @Liberty4Ever Год назад

      @@SvgLau - An SV06 Plus with Klipper and more cooling or a Neptune 4 Plus (hopefully soon) should meet my needs.
      I'd be happy to have a 300 mm cube print volume Klipper machine with no user interface other than Fluidd web based control over the LAN from my computer, preferably via WiFi.
      It feels like Klipper is coming into its own. It made it to the high end core XY machines first but is now quickly making its way to the high end i3 machines. People are hot rodding their Ender 3 printers with Klipper. 3D printer development seemed to have slowed but it's now moving rapidly again and Klipper is a large part of that. Good input shaping is making it possible to have good quality prints faster which is pushing hardware improvements in higher flow hot ends and better cooling.

    • @SvgLau
      @SvgLau  Год назад

      @@Liberty4Ever Yeah, Klipper is kinda trend right now. All the brands don't want to leave behind this game. Some rushed to have Core xy printer out and all have it's issue, beside the Bambu Lab but it is another staff differ from what other brands is doing.
      But as a customer, I am more than happy to see this industial to grow. Better machines and cost less money. But it some times also lead to short R&D time and rushed get product out. It's pain.
      I am actually just bought a Voron trident kits and mainly intended to learn more things from it and having fun.

    Hey, thanks for the video ! I just recieved mine, it seems that they fix cable for the hot plate and add some lube to z axis, but the Y-axis feel really noisy, i removed the blue plate to see bearings, and there is not so much lube there maybe just some "drops". Do you recommend to relube the entire machine, or it will be noisy even if its lubed ? Thanks !

    • @SvgLau
      @SvgLau  Год назад +1

      Yes, I highly recommend to clean and relube with PTFE grease. Also the linear rod should clean and put a little lube on it too. I would say cleaning the rod and relube as regular maintanece just like oil change to a car. If you not comfortable to assembly the printer please refer my lube video on sv06, it shared a lot of common parts and structure.

      @SavageLau. you mean on your sv06 video ? Yeah, I'll definitely will do that and follow your amazing tutorial, really happy to discover your channel with all of this tips for sovol printers :) wanna a start with a perfectly working machine, unfortunately they are not selling super lube here so I hope I find a normal ptfe lube from other provider.. (ps: sovol actually did provide a little tube of lube, but idk if it's the right one cause it's write in Chinese, 10g of something from cx&hl)
      Oh and also I feel that my sv06plus heat bed is little bumpy when I touch it, is it the same for you ? Ty !

      @SvgLau  Год назад

      @@odonotso3941 Glad you like it! yeah, the little 10g they provide is PTFE lube I believe. Mine heat bed is really smooth without any bumpy. Also, I am going to run some test on IGUS bearing and different greases shortly.

    • @SvgLau
      @SvgLau  Год назад +1

      So far, it works great for me. There are a lot of minnor problem with this machine tho, like cable chain, clog issue that you mention for TPU, Z wobble issue. I have exprienced some of them. Is it a good machine for the money? Indeed, yes. Is it going to for work you? depends, if you don't mind spend sometime and make you own improvement, it could be great machine. However, if you don't need 300mm build plate size, maybe SV06 would be a better choice. and almost $100 cheaper. Or, Elegoo neptune 3 plus is another great choice too. But, I don't have it, I can't tell you much about that one tho.
