Garth Brooks is my favorite county singer. So Im really picky at covers of Garth's songs. But I have to say Matt you did great. 8 out of 10 stars I give. Great job.

I love this cover. It's a great song, but one of the things I always found a bit over the top were the vocal cracks or breaks from the falsetto to full voice that so many country vocalists do. You throw one or two in, but not an excessive amount, so they become points of interest rather than every few notes the way a lot of singers do. It's the old rule "Just because I can, doesn't mean I should."
