True, I put 195k miles through mine and it NEVER went wrong, EVER! even original clutch, heater plugs and pumps! I just did regular servicing on time. The car only died when the rear suspension collapsed. The HDI's afterwards were weak, limping home with broken MAF sensors & dodgy electrics etc.
I love Peugeots, my first 3 cars were pugs, but they cost as much as a Mercedes to maintain (in the UK) Since then I have had a Jeep Grand Cherokee back in 2000, then a Mercedes C320 and New Grand Cherokee WK & a Liberty KJ Happy Days
No, td, TDi's are Volkswagen engine. The td is a old Diesel engine from Peugeot. This is one of the last car with this engine. In the 90's they have introduce the HDi.

Ich bins I know but the car had 10w40 in cold conditions, 0w40 would probably be better. We don't use that where I live since it can get to 48 Celsius above and the coldest it gets in winter is 10 degrees.

you've not been in a cold place as this one...it does'nt need to have snow all around it to be at this low temperature.
