I'd give Days Gone a 7.5/10. Not a masterpiece of a game but also not mediocre. The gameplay and story is good, but not The Last of Us 1 good. Running from zombies is fun but the storyline felt a bit lackluster as it dragged on. Side characters were okay but not interesting enough to be memorable. I did enjoy the ending though.

Mafia became a favourite game of mine back in 2002. I replayed it many times and after I got Mafia: Definitive Edition, I was super stoked, again replaying it many times. lol I just love the vintage cars and classic music.

I got Outer Wilds (Which is not even on this list) from a friend as a Birthday Gift. I still haven't played it because i got some other games in the queue. But people talk so much about this game, always good, never bad. That is making me maybe consider skipping some games to play it.
Stellar blade is one of those games I was watching closely because of how beautiful it was...I pre-ordered it and unlocked every outfit searching every nook and cranny. It's seriously soooo good. The combat is amazing and the music and visuals had my mouth drop open a few times, especially toward the middle-end. It's so fun to run around this world and I was compelling invested in it every second. It was a 9/10 for me. The story is why I marked it alittle lower....but that's what the second game is for. Complete the story and I'll glady give 10/10. Cant wait for the new title and to learn more about eve and the world around her. Stunning game 😊

Skyrim, red redemption 2, fallout 3&4, far cry 3, still pull me back to play. Where as on the other hand, eso is shutting me down with, the fetch and run back through that door and come back, of scrying, mythics fighting the same wb over and over waiting piece for a mythic to to drop, people are making money carrying others to reach the level or armour/item.
I'd swap out Gears 5 with "Kingdom come deliverance" or "Stalker". Both these titles have a sequel on the way. "Stalker" this year and KCD early next year.

I have never been a story line guy. I just want to play. Why don't I care for story lines? They don't add anything to the game for me in terms of anxiety, richness, depth or impact. NOW, if a story line had clues to special gear or quests hidden throughout the cut scenes, etc, then sure. The reason for Jimmy killing paul doesn't matter if there isn't something to find out about it, and with most games having linear play, where your decisions really don't affect the final outcome of an event or the final game. There are a few exceptions.

I played Horizon zero dawn and found it so generic, repetitive, boring, with a million issues. I quit about half way, and I dont usually quit. Ive heard the sequel is even worse in that regard.
Same here lol I waited for the remastered version and it got very boring half way. PlayStation should stop doing open worlds and just have a nice story rich games like the last of us
99% 3rd person games. The industry should do more 1st person games like Skyrim, Fallout 3, RDR2, Borderlands, etc. I never bought a 3rd person game, though there r games I would like to play if they were 1st person. I don't want to be outside controlling a figure. I want to be inside the game.
I played Ghost of Tsushima on day one on PS4 Pro and for me it was absolutely not worth the money I spent. For me, Ghost was a totally forgettable game except for the setting, the art direction, the combat system and the idea of the guiding wind.
Horizon forbidden west is a disaster , horrible gameplay just forces you to spam attacks, aloy keeps on falling through cracks no proper foothold, story is too stretched and boring
Totally disagree. Forbidden West is flat-out excellent. Some of the best story-telling and voice acting I have ever seen. Even the side quests are excellent.

I played Horizon zero dawn and found it so generic, repetitive, boring, with a million issues. I quit about half way, and I dont usually quit. Ive heard the sequel is even worse in that regard.
Crazy. I didn't play until it came out on PC, but I loved HZD and it's one of my all time favorite games.
Same here lol I waited for the remastered version and it got very boring half way. PlayStation should stop doing open worlds and just have a nice story rich games like the last of us

99% 3rd person games. The industry should do more 1st person games like Skyrim, Fallout 3, RDR2, Borderlands, etc. I never bought a 3rd person game, though there r games I would like to play if they were 1st person. I don't want to be outside controlling a figure. I want to be inside the game.

I played Ghost of Tsushima on day one on PS4 Pro and for me it was absolutely not worth the money I spent. For me, Ghost was a totally forgettable game except for the setting, the art direction, the combat system and the idea of the guiding wind.

Horizon forbidden west is a disaster , horrible gameplay just forces you to spam attacks, aloy keeps on falling through cracks no proper foothold, story is too stretched and boring
Totally disagree. Forbidden West is flat-out excellent. Some of the best story-telling and voice acting I have ever seen. Even the side quests are excellent.
