I’m a gear nerd and I like to carve, and the first time I saw the supermatics in person I noticed the large heel cup profile which would make a deep heelside carve impossible.
I think you always have to consider who the rider is and what they bring to the table rather than the type of equipment being used it self. That being said there are some strong limitations up and down the equipment inventory for sure!
I think most boards can run a carve line but for me I'm older and a little more laid back and love just cruising with a flatter board at medium speeds. The Dada is a short and medium radius carving ride and for me doesn't have the deep carving line for trenching it is also a shorter radius player I would go more with something like the "Holy Grail" check out Avran review he'll lay out a fit!
Awesome looking board
Thanks!

How’s the supermatics working out compared to your prior strap setup ?
I’ll be putting out a video tomorrow to go over the binding from my perspective! Hope you’ll like it?
You think its a good board for laying deep trenches with such a wide waist? How does the edge hold feel when laying deep carves?
