Turning around a restaurant is hard to do. But even running a restaurant can be volatile business. One of my jobs was at a bar and grille that had a pretty consistently busy lunch and dinner service. Fairly good standards. But it shut down for three weeks due to damage from a tornado and a flood, and it took MONTHS before they were back to where they were. They never truly recovered from the recession since, well, people went out to eat less.
It’s forever funny as fuck to see how panicked they were over that bloger/critic and bloggers/critics have 0 power now and everyone just goes to indie RUclipsrs and stuff or just go try it themselves because no one can trust critics anymore
I just wanted to say I love this channel. Been watching KN since the very start in the UK and always go back and rewatch. Loads of channels do recaps or just plain upload the full episodes. It's great that you do the recap as a commentary and what happened after. Also some really funny commentary. Keep it up.

If you ever get into 24 hours to hell and back, I lived next to The Boulevard and The Bear's Den at the time the episode was filmed and aired! I remember watching the episode with the owner of The Boulevard's ending comments being something like "I'll turn this into a successful business" and then the hard cut to the news anchor talking about how they closed down the restaurant because of money trouble. I ended up getting food from both restaurants, the pizza from Bear's Den being pretty good albiet expensive, and the calamari from The Boulevard being really good from what i could eat!! (It was pre battered with black pepper, which im allergic to) But yeah, Ramsay's food is no joke! Really tasty stuff even if im allergic to some of it c: I'm excited to see more of your videos!

You have to bring in your own customers; if you ever do community networking events, you’ll meet a few mortgage brokers. Owning a restaurant & being there in the evening IS mortgage broker work, as well. Abby’s bad attitude probably actually reduced the number of clients he got, but he may have been able to cut back on daytime work hours due to the restaurant; it’s not the same as having a job that is paid a salary (mortgage brokers get a commission of your mortgage) and has no overlap.

Inflation and taxes will kill us all but not the elite.
