I believe price is king. Technical traders start with a cluttered chart full of indicators. Then, over time they slowly disappear when we realise the information is all there in the price. It’s a bit like clearing the fog. One or two indicators sometimes help, but too many and biases creep in. A respected RUclipsr once told me that every strategy works in the right market conditions. I believe he’s right. We find what fits our personality, ignore the nay sayers and if it makes us money, we roll with it. There’s no right or wrong answer, one better than the other. A strategy is never static, its dynamic and must evolve with ever changing market conditions. Find what you like, stick with it, don’t strategy hop (guilty!) and give it time (lots!). Happy trading 🙂

Regarding the indicators i can say this "even the broken watch is right 2 times in a day" now power that up with good risk to reward.

Was using all indicators - but for price momentum I have found a couple of price action action patterns which give an edge as to what will happen in the near future. Price action is closer to causation than correlation so is more stable over time / needs less tweaking.

The best trading method is an easy question to answer; it's the one which is aligned to your own personal psychology.

Indicators work well in a trending market. In the market we have had lately price reverses very often. It does not work at all. Which makes me think one should just stay away. There is no way I will ever use price action. It is like taking a car, remove doors, the roof, windows and just keep the steering wheel, chair and engine. When you ask the owner about this car he will say. It moves forward and backwards. I can stop it too. That is all that matters.

Most mechanical traders making millions are using indicator base system
I personally use indicator base system.

Working on a bot based on BB-reversal, 5m BTCUSDT perpetual. Backtest is profitable, roughly 50% winrate with a 8-12% return per month (no leverage). That work is fun, the mechanical mindset. For live trading I prefer pure price action though. For swings I like to mix in my own, more subjective, view on the market.
