Verhoeven is the Nadal of kickboxing. Doesn't have the knockout power of some of the other guys, but is a tank that keeps moving forward and chips away at your energy until you buckle.

GLORY should start doing UFC style "Countdown" shows, or HBO style "24/7" episodes where you follow the lives of the fighters leading up to the day of the the fight. Not only would it seriously increase the marketing of GLORY and of the fighters, but it would also bring guys like Zach Mwekessa, Rico Verhoeven , Murthel Groenhart, Nieky Holzken and Mosab Amrani millions of more fans.

Rico fought the perfect fight. Very intellectual fighter. Reminds me of Lennox Lewis. He set some nasty traps and lured Benny into a minefield.
Ben literally got hit with the same 1-2 right cross counter over his jab every time, and hit by all of Rico's right hands with the exception of one.
Rico definitely prepared that counter like crazy after Ben's last fight lol. That was as flawless of a victory as you can get.
he got there, the level of the former dutch legends, i've been following his fights hoping we get another great dutch champ. what i saw this fight was not what rico used to be, he got to that next lvl, pretty sure he will stay there for a long time with only 26 years of age now. lang leven ons kickboxen, nu weer in een paar divisies een groot Nederlands kampioen! maakt kickboxen weer geweldig om naar te kijken.

Good fight for Rico but it wasn't suave at all. Benjamin had no respect for his punches at all. He took to much. Rico *might* not have knock out power but with volume, he can knock anyone. Benjamin needed to be more active and move his head. I enjoyed the fight, I will keep my eye on Rico.
