Hi, I am an owner on VW Virtus Tsi 1.0 MT and after watching the video I tried to achieve the mileage of 30km/litre and after driving for 38 mins with an average speed of 56km/hour and I was successful in achieving the mileage of 32.2km/litre!
@@siddu6003 it's been 8 months. i negotiated a lot.. I got in 15.15 lakh on road.. but 1 month after purchase VW started giving more 60k discount on it😅
@@bobbyisac yes they did but still to hold its integrity at those speed for the number of laps till the next change is no mean task. Btw even F1 cars those are suppose to run of best of rubber needs change after certain laps. 😊

@@chromewarnock9681 I’m not sure went with low expectations to the virtus test drive but I really liked the way it drives .. it was more peppy and fun Iam 100 percent sure it won’t be any were near to bmw or merc in comfort luxury and features but the fun part in driving the pull from the car was realy nice ..
@@Sha-Ayo well suv's body structure can't.. as too much energy is required for going against wind speeds.. sedan's aerodynamic designs take less wind speeds and engine stays more cooler then comparative suv.

@@SavourandTravel-xh9ly Touchwood no issues so for in my manual 1.0 topline. I completed 10k kms in 6 months and 70% is on highways. Yes there is turbo lag in low range. I would suggest go for Automatic if your usage is mostly in city.

Engineering=Germans, i own a Polo 1.0 tsi manual, I took it for coast to coast drive that's from Chennai to Calicut 12 hours straight with one break that lasted for 10 mins. The engine is a titan job by Volkswagen engineers, it screamed in expressways and felt super confident in hilly terrains of malabar coast. The engine is a gem!
If they can localise ,they can cut cost.if the ventors are properly choose and quality checks are done properly,they become reliable. And with their driver focused engineering dna ,they can easily dominate the indian market. For that they should bring back a car in hatch back segment too.❤

Not surpised at all. Always knew it and thats why bought Slavia 1lt AT as soon as it was launched! Have been enjoying this phenomenal car for the last 2 yrs!❤
Proud owner of 1.0 MT i love to rev the engine to 6000+ rpm and in 2nd gear i touch 85kmph and in 3rd 115kmph without a sweat. I wouldn't have enjoyed this much in automatic. Also i do this when someone says its just 1litre 3 cylinder engine !😅 and look at their reaction, with a smirk 😏😈

If you can go for 1.5 TSI go for it.... Won't regret that additional cost while driving on highways although DSG is very good but go for Manual. If you're interested in automatic and are skeptical about DSG then just go with 1.0 TSI AT.
I own a 1.0 TSI Virtus deep black it has great performance , you cannot differ between 1.0 and 1.5 at low speed ,but if you drive at high speeds 1.5 is unbeatable. Considering the 1.0 TSI is locally made in India it has low maintenance than 1.5 DSG as DSG has high maintenance cost. but if you want performance I recommend the 1.5 MT than 1.0TSI.

They should test such endurance tests in traffic of India because that is what the real world use case scenario is. Let's see how much of that test these cars survive. These are perfects tracks which really don't mimic India driving conditions.
It doesn't make sense for a car manufacturer to do this as there are too many variables. Hence these tests make sense because although the numbers are inflated, every car would have the same testing scenario, which can be then used to scale down and get an approximate endurance. Plus car reviewers do real world testing, and they have the capability to compare that data.
This is 1.0tsi engines for you. People argue 1.0tsi engine is under power for skoda kushaq. But tsi engines are built tough. They have driven in all conditions for more than 9lakh kms specially for India. I think these cars are very much under sold in this category.
People have forgotten about FIAT LINEA TJET. The OG baap of all turbo petrols India has ever seen in Aam Aadmi hands. Kudos to VW to have given us beauties like Vento and Virtus.

Not a comparison but I have driven my nexon petrol continuously for 17 hours and did 900 plus Pune to Mountabu that to in Rain and Nexon did it gracefully that too in Heavy rain .

Yes, most cars that can achieve 200 km/h can do 24 hours - basically any car in Europe with a 1.6 diesel engine or bigger

Slight lag in Virtus 1.0 MT noticeable in gear 2-3 , but once you get used to it, it mostly doesn't feel like lag anymore
