Step-by-Step Guide: From Purchase to Assembly
Purchasing the Templates:
Visit the Etsy Shop: Go to KayKay's Paper Crafts.
Choose your templates: Browse through the collection and select the paper dollhouse and doll templates you'd like.
Add to cart and checkout: Click Add to cart and proceed to checkout.
Complete payment: Follow the prompts to complete your purchase securely.
Download confirmation: After purchase, you'll receive an email with a download link.
Downloading the Files:
Check your email: Open the email from Etsy and click the download link.
Access your Etsy account (optional): Alternatively, log in to your Etsy account.
Go to "You" -» "Purchases and Reviews."
Find your order and click "Download Files."
Save the PDFs: Download and save the PDF files to your computer.
Preparing Materials:
White cardstock paper: For best results, use photo printing cardstock.
Printer: A color printer is recommended.
Glue: Craft glue or a glue stick works well.
Scissors: Sharp scissors for precise cutting.
Velcro fasteners or Magnetic Self-Adhesive Paper: Optional, for clothing.
Printing Tips:
Printer settings:
Set print quality to "High" or "Best."
Select paper type as "Photo Paper" or "Cardstock."
Scaling:
Ensure scaling is set to 100% or "Actual Size."
If necessary, select "Fit to Page" to prevent any cropping.
Cutting Out the Pieces:
Careful cutting:
Cut along the solid lines of each piece.
Take your time with intricate areas.
Safety first:
If crafting with kids, supervise the use of scissors.
Folding and Scoring:
Score fold lines:
Use a ruler and a blunt tool (like a closed pen) to score along dotted lines.
Make the folds:
Fold along the scored lines to prepare for assembly.
