For everybody asking for rotary content...we don’t have any yet but we are going to be using the Italian racing frame as a base for the rotary shifter! Any recommendations for a good color combo?

Putting the correct TUNED airbox back on it (or a new one) would do wonders - there was a reason it was shaped strange and had all those purposely designed ports and weird holes......... a pod filter will never work right on that engine- Two strokes dont like that kind of Jerry-rigging

That’s make me think about a clutch problem I’m not a kart expert but maybe you need to check if the clutch still too Much engaged I don’t know, maybe someone more pro can help you better here! SORRY for my English bro if it’s bad It’s not my language😅😂
The thing looks like a 50cc kids moped, I've driven a 125cc shifter behind a 100cc single gear racing kart and couldnt pass because those things actually are super quick. Something is either very wrong with this one or its restricted to 5hp :)
Super short gearing and it is likely in need of a rebuild. Also, the KT 100 is basically the lowest HP 2-stroke class making around 15hp on a good day.
Build Break Repeat great job guys.... just a thought pertaining to safety. Y’all might consider adapting a timing belt for drive instead of the commonly used chain. The reason for that conversation would be elimination of a broken chain at high speeds which acts like a chain saw blade that will literally go to the bone... not pretty plus very painful. Oh and as you guys already know that a smaller gear on the axle makes for less speed. :-)
I beg to differ but a huge sprocket on rear will raise the gearing ratio making the engine turning the wheel easier and there for making it rev faster so small gear makes more speed

That is a racing clutch so the engagement rpm sgould be adjustable. Sounds like its engaging at too low rpm

I have a kt100 as well and it works perfectly, but when I put it on the floor it stops running and it doesn't starts rolling.
Does anybody know why?

If the gears were lower you would be drifting all day

Tune it and get a proper exhaust not a tincan
