Knowing now what Radu has been trying to keep secret, I'm convinced he's had his ears surgically trimmed. Vampire bats have very large ears and snouts, and these would be obvious giveaways to the skating board. Thus, in addition to putting on an act, I'm inclined to believe he would have purposely made physical alterations to his face to make his fruit bat appearance look real.
