In recent Comics Superman is trying to chase after Barry and when Superman says "I can keep up with you barry I've even won some of those races." Barry reveals that quote "Those were for Charity Clark." and leaves Superman in the dust. So really those races were only close because Flash wanted to put on a show for Charity.
+44Ryoga44 for anyone interested - Flash Rebirth. Fuckin' awesome comic. First Flash comic I read, and I was blown away. (not good to read as first, I know, but eh :) )
+44Ryoga44 for my the best example of how fast flash is the one in Smallville, how Bart outrun Clark so easily, is like Clark at maximum speed is like a normal human speed for the flash
Malachi Owens I feel like a lot of Grant's followers from Glee are watching the new CW series, or those who heard of it from Arrow. I don't think it's very underrated. I never noticed that Henry was played by the same person who played Barry in the 90's series though, that's really neat.
+Sebastian Reed Andrews oh yeah I forgot the 90s one was awesome and it was on wb now 14 years later we have the flash on the cw I love living in the bay area and depending on what flash one story arc all of the speedsters are a family and another arc they are all flash but alternating universes not related I'm glad Jay is finally here and Gotham is getting so good it started what the joke all ways wants and in the end smile hahaha the joker legacy is starting
The flash is my all time favorite superhero. Little known fact: The flash not only moves at Super speed, but his connection to the speed force allows him to think at Super speeds as well. He is able to process every single outcome before he makes a move. I think that is worth a mention.
I think one of the more interesting Flash facts is that, in the classic Flash #179 (May 1968) story "The Flash -- Fact or Fiction?", the Flash literally travels to the real world, Earth-Prime, where he discovers that super-heroes only exist as comic book characters in our reality. He enlists aid by looking up the one person who will believe that he is a super-hero and can help him find his way home, Julius Schwartz. then-editor of DC Comic's Flash comics. At the DC offices, Flash meets Julie and proves that he has super speed. Julie then gathers parts for the Flash to rebuild his cosmic treadmill in order to return to Earth-One. Julius Schwartz was not only his current editor at the time, but also was responsible for the oversight of creating the Silver Age, science-fiction oriented Flash, Barry Allen himself, which occurred in Showcase #4 (October 1956).
the best fact is that he once ran 23,759,449,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 x the speed of light and ran from the edge of the universe to earth in less than a plank instant. you cant have less time than a plank instant though so he broke speed. this is in the comic book where space gamblers bet on two planets who was the fastest . the flash was nominated for earth. but he made one last bet with the gamblers saying he could get to earth faster then them. they teleported so they got there instantly. but he still beat them

I understand that Barry Allen is the most famous Flash, but I started reading comics around the time of the Crisis, so Wally West was the only flash I grew up with and he'll always be my flash. Sorry.
I grew up watching the Justice League cartoon and for a long time Wlly West was my favorite but after digging in the comics and reading the early adventures of Barry Allen he became my new favorite Flash but i respect your opinion Wally West is my second loved Flash.
+Rydar imo, Convergence was better than Secret Wars. reason is quite simple. SW wanted to start over, Convergence simply left all those parallel worlds to live. if you look back, all those comic books... marvel ones would be in a way irrelevant. whilst DC's one remain being true, one way or another. but hey, I am basing all this on reviews I've read for both, haven't had time to read them myself yet (tho I plan to).
Bullshit. Flash is my all time favorite hero has been for most of my life (since i was like 7) But that comment is ignorant as Fuck. The Pheonix Force... Silver Surfer... The Runner... Yeah he isn't above everyone in Marvel. BS.
flashpoint paradox animated movie and the flash tv show really fleshed out the character so much in the last couple of years. he was popular before but the flash's popularity skyrocketed through the roof, i wasnt aware the flash can be so strong and powerful
The Flash, Superman race also created another contest : Marvel comics " the Thing vs. the Hulk" episodes. Where Flash always outraces Superman, the Hulk always defeats the Thing. The Thing never wins.
On the Flash's sacrifice in "Crisis On Infinite Earths" originally the technique he used to destroy the Anti-Monitor's weapon involved hitting a certain vibrational frequency that would destroy anything it was used on, including the Anti-Monitor's weapon. However, it had one major drawback: It would also killed the user too. The Flash learned about it from another speedster who used the same technique and died from it. It was also unique to Barry because later (relatively speaking) Wally tried to take Barry's place and destroy the device but because of the difference in their powers (as an example, when Wally vibrates through objects they explode) Wally's was unable to do the same thing that Barry did.
People often forget the speed force which was that “aura” that was mentioned that speed force is self aware and let’s Barry harness its power a little at a time, but overall this is an excellent video
What about the fact The Flash TV show(90s) gave us Mark Hamill's Joker. His performance as the Trickster in the 90s Flash show, was what got his foot in the door to audition for the Joker in Batman TAS. The rest is glorious, glorious history. Incidently, Mark reprised his role as Trickster in Justice League TAS and the new Flash TV show.
At #1 on this list Superman and The Flash raced each other to prove who is the fastest they may end up in a tie, but they show great sportsmanship and most importantly teamwork and that's why they are 2 of the most iconic superheroes in the comic book industry today.
MynameDevin He can easily create a gadget that does that. But even without it he is still go 90% of that speed. Since everyone in the world is already moving he can just harness it again, less of it but he can do it whenever he needs to.
+Ryan 5160 By being faster than thought (which is the speed of neurons firing in the brain) that one initiates to teleport instantaneously. That is, from the moment the first neuron fires when you decide to teleport until it triggers the instant teleportation power will take some incredibly small fraction of a second (due to electrical resistance of one's neurological system similar to resistance in a wire), but the Flash is even faster than how long that takes.
big surprise, Mark Hamil played the villain the trickster in the 90's flash tv series, and he also did the voice for the trickster as well as the joker in the animated justice league tv series. he even made a reprise of the trickster for the current 2014 series. how awesome is that?!
All of these facts are 100% true do you know anything about flash and how powerful and important he is. Without him being flash we'd have the flashpoint world
Each and every fact here is completely true and supported with specific references. You're trying to look like you know more about the flash than everybody else, but you don't, you look stupid.
I think number one should have been, which is not mentioned here at all, is that he is probably the most beloved and celebrated superhero in his community. Superman has a statue in his honour but the Flash has a civic holiday and a museum. I can't think of any other hero in DC or Marvel as adored by the people. Justice League Unlimited did a great episode illustrating this as does the TV series.
Should have shown the page from Flash:Rebirth where he points out those times Clark won, those were for charity and leaves Bug Blue in the dust. And yeah cool nod to both Shipp and Pays on the series. I was ten when I watched the old show. And get in the season 2 premiere the mayor was portrayed by the actor who was the cop that was the only one who believed Shipp's Flash existed.
You should have included some things the Speed Force could do. Like let anyone connected to it fly, and Barry has been shown to create hard light objects, like Green Lantern.
I heard somewhere that even Superman admitted that because super speed isn't something he does on on a regular basis, he would eventually get tired before Flash would and eventually lose.
I like the time that the flash saved people from a burning apartment building, went to a library and learned how to do construction, rebuilt their building and replaced a doll that was left in the fire.
In 6:38 you can see the lightning hit Barry and a red flash goes across the screen so maybe that's a hint that we will see flash go back in time in the show
Flash Gordon is the original Flash started in 1934 comic stripe by King Features, traveled faster than the speed of light in a space ship. Met Hawkmen in 1935. In story Powermen of Mongo wore Electrician outfit of red helmet, pants, shirt with yellow lightning symbol, yellow belt, boots, googles (newer one skipped google but yellow lightning symbols located where strapes were) and gloves in 1939. Also got froze by a villain with an ice gun. Also had underwater city and Shark men. Other Flash comics starting in 1940 and later copied these.
Finally, a video where I don't have to yell about the fact that Barry Allen didn't die in the Crisis. What actually happened was that he ran so fast around the Anti-Monitor's weapon that he (Barry) became one with a COMBINATION of the time stream and the Speed Force.
isnt he also the only human being to pass through the source wall? something only extremely high tiered gods can do and something darkseid couldnt even do?
major nitpick: aside from "Bazinga", none of Cisco's shirts should be called "Big Bang Theory shirts", they are shirts that existed in geek culture before Sheldon Cooper wore them on the show, many of which can be bought at ThinkGeek. in the clip, the non-Bazinga shirt he's wearing is graphics from the early 80s Intellivision game Astro Smash, which is decidedly not property of CBS.
Fun Fact: The DC multiverse is actually connected to the Marvel multiverse. There was a comic in which a pair of brothers which represented DC and Marvel multiverses, and they got into a fight that warranted the Superheroes of both DC and Marvel to try and stop them from fighting.
For #3, when the Flash created himself, it also works in the TV Show, but in a different way. SPOILERS AHEAD IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE FLASH TV SHOW WHICH IS ACTUALLY AWESOME: So this is sort of confusing: Barry Allen becomes the flash when getting hit by lightning, but that lightning bolt was caused by Harrison Wells by accident when his Particle Accelerator failed, and exploded into a storm cloud, thus creating the bolt. But later you find out that Harrison Wells is actually Eobard Thawne, and purposely activated the Particle Accelerator to create the lightning bolt to hit Barry, in order to create the Flash. However, Eobard Thawne would have never done that if the Flash never existed, since Eobard Thawne can only be Reverse-Flash if the Flash exists, which would me he would never go back in time, kill the real Harrison Wells, take his identity, activate the Particle Accelerator to create the Flash, if the Flash never existed in the first place. Yeah, crazy stuff XD
The flash can vibrate things into oblivion..he's a good guy though..imagine a flash that just goes up to bad guys puts his hand on their shirt and shakes them so fast the vanish in smoke and electricity. Brutal.
I just want to say thank you you guys for adjusting the volume between the clips and the commentary. It's much more even. Now when I watch at night I don't have to worry about waking up my girlfriend because I couldn't hear the commentary. Seriously, thank you.
my favorite superhero since i was 5 years old damn flash is my idol ... my hero and my mentor and yeah there are some others fact but that list is gooood happy FLASH DAY
so many mistake in this video, they pronounced Cisco's last name wrong, the whole Eabord grew to hate Barry is wrong. He traveled back to meet flash but ended up in the Flash museum and saw how he would become the nemesis. It drove him insane and then he traveled back in time accepting that he was the villain.
He's fast So many counterparts Many shows and no movie (yet, I'm waiting for 2018) He was a BLUE LANTERN!! A FREAKING BLUE LANTERN!!!!! His grandson was Kid Flash He can turn back time Awesome costume Can vibrate his molecules through solid objects Can have many puns (Is your refrigerator running? I'll catch it!...........sorry) He's part of the Justice League. There you go
I like Barry Allen, but Wally West is the best flash, and seriously underrated (in comparison to Barry that is). He has a more interesting personality and is quicker than Barry, yet most these facts were just about Barry or Jay. I liked that in a couple of the facts about Barry but they showed clips of Wally in animation. I have no problem if people love Barry that's absolutely fine and people are entitled to their opinion, but come on give Wally some of the limelight:P
You forgot a GOLDEN FACT about the Flash: He might be the fastest man alive in the American fictional universe (Marvel Included). Marvel and DC had quite a number of crossovers (and palgiarism) and, since they would destroy part of their continuity, they usually aren't canonic x both DC and Marvel. But in one of them, that is considered CANONIC, during a race between the fastest speedsters of Marvel universe, while they are all at 3/4 of their route, a portal opens at half way of that route and a man, with a blond beard and a red torn costume, comes out of it, outspeeding all of them winning the race (that had 1/4 route of advantage) and then tells them his name:"I don't remember it.... was something like BURIED ALIEN". Quasar even theorized that that man was an interdimensional traveler. That man, know in Marvel Universe as FastFarward, apeared in the same time when Barry Allen had disapeared in the SpeedForce, after the Crisis of Infinity Earth. Was this just a tribute to the Scarlet Speedster? or Not?
Flash fact! Barry and Iris's children were born in the 30th century and his son, Don married Eobard Thawn's decendant Meloni Thawn, who is the mother of Bart Allen. So distantly The Reverse Flash and the Flash are family through marriage.
Top 10 time when a superhero tries to do something good but it ends up being bad such as Flash trying to save his mother and creating the Flashpoint universe or when either Iron Man or Ant Man created Ultron.
Actually Eobard thawne didn't grow to hate Barry, he found out that he was the archenemy of his hero, because of this fact he went crazy even taking up the idea he was Barry, now not fighting what he is he uses all he has to fulfill his fate of which is ruining Barry's life.
In recent Comics Superman is trying to chase after Barry and when Superman says "I can keep up with you barry I've even won some of those races." Barry reveals that quote "Those were for Charity Clark." and leaves Superman in the dust. So really those races were only close because Flash wanted to put on a show for Charity.
lol that is not recent..
Gabriel Gunz Well recent compared to the example they gave us.
They missed a great opportunity to put that image in the video. That moment is poignant Af.
Scientifically, the Flash is the most powerful superhero.
+MarTin ShorLux Takion and Captain Atom respectfully disagree
Doctor Manhattan disagrees
gabriel ramirez The guys I named stomp Doc. Man, in the face-soul
+TheTerrance1 in that case Jesus is the most OP superhero (sarcasm)
+TheTerrance1 you do realize the flash can go back in time right?
I love that they made Grant the Flash in the CW series.
Yeah it just a such a underrated series
+Malachi Owens Well it has like a 8.3 review score sooooo...
Malachi Owens I feel like a lot of Grant's followers from Glee are watching the new CW series, or those who heard of it from Arrow. I don't think it's very underrated.
I never noticed that Henry was played by the same person who played Barry in the 90's series though, that's really neat.
I just saw a show as a replacement for the tomorrow people which was canceled a year before the flash came to the CW.

Underrated? Hell no. You'd call Dr Fate or The Spectre underrated. Deserving of more attention, and better writers is a better statement.
No Aquaman is more underrated than him
+xander sheriff damn you're right
+Captain America hey. You and I just had a conversation in the Wolverine video.
captain hindsight is the most underrated what are you talking about?
the flash, growing up in the 80s will forever remain my favorite super hero.
really he is AMAZING!!!! 😝
mine too

2:00 Cisco Raymen, RAYMEN? RAYMEN?!?!?!!
well it looks like ronnie married cisco instead
Here come the Superman fanboys that can't accept that the Flash is leagues beyond him in speed...
Nah, I'm pretty sure that every DC fan knows that flash is faster :)
oOLanceOo you would be suprised in the kinds of arguments I get in about Superman's speed when compared to the Flash's
yeah thats noob news for dc fans
+Error Macro those were for charity
Phyrexian Juggernaut I know that, you probably need to reread my initial comment...
I understand that Barry Allen is the most famous Flash, but I started reading comics around the time of the Crisis, so Wally West was the only flash I grew up with and he'll always be my flash. Sorry.

Cisco Raymond? Raymond! RAYMOND!
C'mon Watchmojo I thought you were better than that.
he doesn't say Raymond he says ray-mon rather than ramon
What about the time he froze a kid in place for eternity! Thats pretty harsh
+Mysillypig123 Psh. Fuck Inertia
Top 10 Flash Villains please.
flash >> anybody in Marvel
+pisces cat that's the wisest thing i have read this week.
+Rydar i haven't read convergence or secret wars. I'm also sorry for what i wrote, good that i deleted that.
+Rydar imo, Convergence was better than Secret Wars. reason is quite simple. SW wanted to start over, Convergence simply left all those parallel worlds to live.

+Seth M It's an opinion there is no reason to get angry. 😅😅😅
I'm glad they put in that the flash was a twin. a very little rare but important fact about the flash.
Love how I knew all these, also the friction proof aura is called the speed force.
Wally West is my favorite Flash.
flashpoint paradox animated movie and the flash tv show really fleshed out the character so much in the last couple of years.
he was popular before but the flash's popularity skyrocketed through the roof, i wasnt aware the flash can be so strong and powerful
I love how they call him Cisco RAY-mon when Cisco himself literally pronounces it Rah-mon on multiple occasions in the show.
The Flash, Superman race also created
another contest : Marvel comics " the Thing vs. the Hulk" episodes. Where Flash always outraces Superman, the Hulk always defeats the Thing. The Thing never wins.
I love every version of Flash. I especially love the CW Flash.
Anyone looking forward to season 2 on Tuesday in the UK?
YesyesyesyesyesyesyesHELL YES!
Zoom is coming
The new episode was epic🔥 It came out last week in my country

+The Reneblades I might watch the first episode!

Cant believe this infinite mass punch didnt make the list
People often forget the speed force which was that “aura” that was mentioned that speed force is self aware and let’s Barry harness its power a little at a time, but overall this is an excellent video
Flash from Justice League tv series is my favourite.
fr he is amazing I have a chibi figure of him 😜
That's Wally West flash, my favourite as well :D
+Captain America shame we won't because Wally has been completely changed 😩
Flash can shoot lightning. Yet he chooses not to.
Who else saw the flash season 2
i did
Alaiyah Parkinson it was awsome right
Yair Villegas yup i cant wait for the next episode (watched the 1st one)
Alaiyah Parkinson in the next episode (spoiler) Barry meets a other flash from another parrel universe I think
Yair Villegas i know
What about the one where he appeared in marvel comics and managed to beat everyone in a race?
Please make the Top 10 Daredevil and Green Arrow facts!!!
+Joe Acosta I agree.
So many clips of Young Justice. It makes me wanna go back and rewatch it again.
Still faster than my car.
This video made me miss Young Justice
At #1 on this list Superman and The Flash raced each other to prove who is the fastest they may end up in a tie, but they show great sportsmanship and most importantly teamwork and that's why they are 2 of the most iconic superheroes in the comic book industry today.
+Brandon Kohout in The Flash: Rebirth, Flash completely blew Superman out of the water, showing his true speed over Superman.
There is more than 1 Flash?
NO SHIT
The Flash was my favorite DC Hero growing up!! Next to the Green Lantern, Even behind Batman and Superman!!
the flash can go faster than instant teleportation. how is that possible
He ran at the speed of 1 plank instan. Nothing in the universe is faster
He's the flash
Actually the flash himself isn't that fast he had to absorb kinetic energy from everyone on earth to beat that guy in the race
DO a top ten Batman fact. Like if you argree :)
he was bat pirate back in time as a time bomb
Fuck Batman.
+Arrownoir whoa, easy there son, you show respect to the Dark Knight!
+MrBrownstone8881 I will, as soon as DC stops writing him as an insufferable Mary Sue.
Arrownoir LOL, well, he is one of the toughest peak humans in comics, so not sure whay you want out of him.
....These facts are too generic and not 100% true.
Do you even know anything about the flash
All of these facts are 100% true do you know anything about flash and how powerful and important he is. Without him being flash we'd have the flashpoint world
Each and every fact here is completely true and supported with specific references. You're trying to look like you know more about the flash than everybody else, but you don't, you look stupid.
+Mariquis Flora ACTUALLY, these facts are about %99.90 true.
What not true is that barry is the most recognizable flash. Thats an opinion. For me, its wally :)
A video just for The Flash? I'M IN.
I absolutely _love_ The Flash. Best superhero ever, point blank.
Should have shown the page from Flash:Rebirth where he points out those times Clark won, those were for charity and leaves Bug Blue in the dust. Flash Greatest Superhero of ALLTIME
p.s. love watchmojo
The Flash is not only one of the greatest superheroes in the entire DC Universe, but he's also one of the greatest superheroes ever!
I heard somewhere that even Superman admitted that because super speed isn't something he does on on a regular basis, he would eventually get tired before Flash would and eventually lose.

He said Cisco Raymond....You mean Ramon.
Cisco to Ronnie Raymond : Hug me brother.
Lmao
People make that mistake and can't help but think Drake and Josh cause that so would be Cisco and Ronnie if we were to use Ronnie in the comic's.
I love the Flash!
He is my favorite superhero of all time!
I also love Kid Flash and Impulse!
I Hope That The Flash Creating Himself'll be in The Show
Finally, a video where I don't have to yell about the fact that Barry Allen didn't die in the Crisis. What actually happened was that he ran so fast around the Anti-Monitor's weapon that he (Barry) became one with a COMBINATION of the time stream and the Speed Force.

Brutal.
1:16 yep those hard water gases
Reading those old comics of Jay Were torture :(
I saw The Flash playing table tennis by himself using his super speed in some LEGO depiction of DC Super Friends!
the fact that he can think so fast he isn't susceptible to mind control when conscious
that he can travel at speeds of a blank instant i guess is one good one.
ha "I'll be back in a flash" love it
who else loved the first episode of flash in season 2
I just want to say thank you you guys for adjusting the volume between the clips and the commentary. It's much more even. Now when I watch at night I don't have to worry about waking up my girlfriend because I couldn't hear the commentary. Seriously, thank you.
my favorite superhero since i was 5 years old damn flash is my idol ... my hero and my mentor and yeah there are some others fact but that list is gooood happy FLASH DAY
Flash is such an awesome character
so many mistake in this video, they pronounced Cisco's last name wrong, the whole Eabord grew to hate Barry is wrong. He traveled back to meet flash but ended up in the Flash museum and saw how he would become the nemesis. It drove him insane and then he traveled back in time accepting that he was the villain.
superman bracing himself while flash is exerting little effort
6:35 when barry is falling onto the shelves look to the left and you can see a red blur. maybe barry from the future
Cisco,&,Kaitlin Rock Hard
He's fast
So many counterparts
Many shows and no movie (yet, I'm waiting for 2018)
He was a BLUE LANTERN!! A FREAKING BLUE LANTERN!!!!!
His grandson was Kid Flash
He can turn back time
Awesome costume
Can vibrate his molecules through solid objects
Can have many puns (Is your refrigerator running? I'll catch it!...........sorry)
He's part of the Justice League.
I knew most of the questions and all the honorable mentions
I wish we didn't waste fact spots with references from the 2014 series but good list nonetheless
Cisco also wore a "that's my spot" shirt

,,those were for charity clark''
Top 10 time when a superhero tries to do something good but it ends up being bad such as Flash trying to save his mother and creating the Flashpoint universe or when either Iron Man or Ant Man created Ultron.
Actually Eobard thawne didn't grow to hate Barry, he found out that he was the archenemy of his hero, because of this fact he went crazy even taking up the idea he was Barry, now not fighting what he is he uses all he has to fulfill his fate of which is ruining Barry's life.
Nice Video!
Also, what's the background music used? Sounds familiar.
It's funny how they announced Cisco's last name as Raymond. It's Ramon, like Razor Ramon!!
Bonus fun fact and slight spoiler, not only did John Shipp play Berry's father but he also plays Jay Garrick as the Flash in a parallel univers.
I'm so exited for season 3 of The Flash on CW
Those were for charity Clark
You should add the fact that he gained his powers from a being called Mopee.
i bet the first one is the fact that he can run really fast
Do top 10 lanterns (eg) Hal Jordan, dexx Starr
Flash Season 2 is off to a great start if I do say so myself.
"Jay Garrick: It's a little-known fact that death can't travel faster than the speed of light. But Wally can."
