I love how Lorna is reminding us how to approach Life like a child. Colouring is something most adults won't even conceive of doing, likely dismissing it as 'childish'! That's why I have daily appreciation marathons & walks in nature, reaching out to touch leaves, tree bark & silently admiring lovely flowers, even though from appearances, I have, for now, much less than many in terms of material possessions: no house, no car nor significant other etc The holy book also tells us that unless we approach Life as children, full of wonder, understanding is likely to elude us. Gratitude blessings!
I recently moved, as the home I was renting sold, and it gave me a chance to declutter. I only kept family photos and a few mementos but I sold all my furnishings all the "stuff" that was weighing me down. It is so liberating and freeing to unclutter your home, at the same time you end up uncluttering your mind and soul. I'm content to AirBNB for awhile until I figure out the second half of my life. I'm on my own and that's not going to change, and my daughter recently moved out, so the future is ripe with possibilities. Life is so beautiful, I thank God everyday that I'm still here to enjoy it. 🥰
Thank you Lorna. I was sad today being stuck at home. Last month I fell and fractured my back. I am in pain and cannot leave the house for another month. I miss going grocery shopping, going to work and visiting family/friends.
Your words reminded me that I have a home, two lovely dogs keeping me company and friends bringing me food. My daughter calls me several times a day since she lives far away. I am blessed and in a month or so I can go back to my old life. I pray that the fracture heals. I am not young anymore at 63. 🙏. Gloria in California

I am readi ng your book Angels In My Hair. I have always loved Angels. I wear a Arch Angel Michael necklace never take it off. I am ordering an arch angel necklace this payday and it has Angel Haniel in the middle. I keep my house surrounded by unemployed angels and also send them to my children where they live. So many ppl fall into the trap of believing they are over the hill in their 60’s and too old to live life to the full. You’re only over it if you want to be. I have a relative who will be 80 in a few short weeks. They have potentially, life threatening health issues. Their focus has always been on living life in every moment to the full 🙏🏼💕🙏🏼

I know that if I had stayed in the cafe chatting and eating I would have found myself late for work and rushing to get back. It would have discouraged me from future visits at lunch with friends.
The idea of leaving 10 minutes earlier to just sit or walk in nature and imagining that today calmed my soul.

The coloring reminded me of a coloring book and crayons my grandmother gave me for Christmas when I was 18 which made me think I was given a gift that was meant for my 8 year old sister.
My mom said, no, it is for you as grandma remembered how much fun I had coloring as a young child.
I like to think now that she was a pioneer for the beginning of the adult coloring book fad. I'm proud of you Gramma in Heaven!

I love my tea also Lorna. You are right, adults forget to play. I have noticed this in my life as a sixty something. I enjoy the design coloring books, rearranging design decor with the seasons to be creative, and just sitting outside to hear the trees and foliage rustling in the breeze. Being creative seems to be what lifts my spirits, but I have to get out in nature to really feel refreshed.
Lovely message Lorna. I spent some time today with a needle and a variety of coloured embroidery threads. Just pencilled some words on a piece of material and got busy. Haven't embroidered since I was a child. It turned out nice, not perfect but perfectly unique and enjoyable. 🌹

As I was listening to this on my laptop, I had another tab open and was doing an online jigsaw puzzle of St. Michael the Archangel, 300 pieces. It took the length of time to finish it as this video. I try to make time everyday to do a puzzle, walk the hills, curl up with a good book or listen to some soulful music. I was content to stay inside today because it's raining where I am, Quebec City, and it's my last day of two glorious weeks of vacation. Yesterday was my birthday and I am so grateful to start another trip around the sun. There have been so many beautiful moments, it's such a gift to be alive and to pay attention to the many blessings that come our way. So I'm putting on my raincoat, grabbing my umbrella and heading out for some fresh air to breathe in some beauty. God bless you Lorna and all listeners. ❤

There isn't a difference. Lorna is dyslexic and cannot say the word romantic properly. So she says rosemantic. I love the word rosemantic
