I met the game gumps at a meet and greet in the UK, I was so incredibly nervous. I was in cosplay and they were so incredibly nice, as I was stunned at their American accents because its different on video I guess, so after that initial flop at a conversation started Arin started talking to me about my cosplay and I was so grateful he got me out of that conversation flop, and I've never been able to tell them I appreciate them as content makers and thank you for making my day a bit better by watching a video when I'm feeling down. and its made me feel guilty ever since and I've never gotten into power hour as I was so sad that I didn't tell them I couldn't watch their videos and I've never been able to get into it which goddamn sucks!

Regarding the guy that talks just in quotes. From what I’ve seen online, a lot of neurodivergent people watch game grumps. A common thing for those on the spectrum is masking and talking to others with ”pre-written scripts” so to speak. The script he might’ve gone off of for social interactions could be quotes and such. Maybe I’m reading too much into it but just a thought. However, it’s not Arin’s obligation to handle it better or such, especially if the guy is unfortunately making him uncomfortable.
