I spent a full day in hospital yesterday, having accidentally added olbas eucalyptus oil to a healthy juice, rather than echinacea. I had many tests to make sure I was ok as it's highly toxic. Even a small amount taken internally can put you I to a coma. I was really lucky that I massively diluted the oil with milk and water until I could take in no more.
Eucalyptus oil is not toxic if taken internally? I thought that it was just for topical or inhalation. If taken orally should it just be a little? Thanks for your video.
My bottle literally has a label on it stating “poison” and “Not to be taken”. But it does have recommendations on taking it topically and steam inhalation. I guess if you take it internally you do so at your own risk.
DO NOT DRINK. Please. I made the mistake thinking it was cough syrup, and i was in germany when my host mother told me to “take it”. I thought it was cough syrup to “take by mouth” so i drank a full bottle cap full and vomited 14 times. She just meant “take” it to the bath that I was about to take. Do not drink. Ever. It can be fatal

When I was growing up, we use to drink it with honey and am still alive,so much people saying don’t drink now so it’s confusing to me.

I take honey with oil of oregano like 5 drops in 1 tbs raw honey, 4 times a day if I have a cold until it's all gone.

@@AmitabhSohani No it is not. I grew up on it. Add just a drop or two in the honey. You put a drop in your water bottle as well.

a very small amount can be fine, however taking more than 5mL can cause delirium.
Be careful to check which species of Eucalyptus you are using. Some are safe for human consumption, but some can be fatal.
