I was also inspired to redo my kitchen in my crummy little apartment because literally every kitchen had that gorgeous combo of tile and turquoise and steel it was beautiful
Thank you, this was a nice episode with Jules!🙂 I liked house #1 very much! So cozy and inviting, especially the kitchen with the lovely breakfast area and the view into the garden! House #2 was good and would have been great for her son too, but I didn't like it as much, the dark windows with the diamond grids, the dark doors and the too colourful kitchen. The view was stunning though! The mystery "house" was interesting, had character, a huge kitchen, but it wasn't what they've wanted. I hope they are all still happy and healthy and live in their dream home by now.
I live in Massachusetts, but have family in the UK, and visit many times. I call this show British Country House Porn; living out the fantasy of leaving the US and retiring to the country cotttage.
I mean I hastily thought oh god idk about that, but they seem very happy. Her son approves or he wouldn’t be going with them. She lost her husband they know they’re older and no one knows what time they have left. They want to retire together, and they look at each other like a new lease on life. That’s sweet and totally understandable when you think about it. I see their reasoning.
It is different at the age they are. If they were 25 or 35, I would agree. The only hinky feeling I get is from the adult son moving in with them, but then again, I'm looking at it from a North American perspective.
It’s really none of your business…At their age I think they know what they’re doing! The show is about buying a house, not to see if their relationships gonna work!
I prefer the 1st house. Loved the curb appeal, layout on the inside, kitchen, price as well as a good location being close to work. It wasn't as big as the 2nd and the mystery house but bigger isn't always better. I prefer a below budget turn-key house
WOW ! Moving waaaay too fast. It is one thing to want companionship -- which is understandable -- it is another to merge a very substantial amount of money together after a very short period of time. Neither prudent nor wise. Alternatively, one of them could purchase a home and the other rent in the same village for a year or two and see how it goes. They really do not know each other at all. Very impetuous. Good luck to them.
i think house two met their needs better as the annex existed already. i know the first one had the one bedroom that was totally exposed to the rest of the house so that bedroom would have to have a wall built to separate it as no 19 year old wants everything he does heard by the rest of the house and they dont want to hear it either then they have to build the rest in the garage. its going to cost more than the 50k under budget the house was. still they didn't seem to sure so maybe they will find something more suitable for less. i would have bought #2 even at full price to get that little cabin in the yard and the annex!
Oscar is 19. Teen. He has a right to move with his mother. Ppl has lost their lives at the hands of husbands and wives they have known for years. The fact that they only know each other 3 months, at their age is no big deal. They're old enough to know what they want. Ppl judging and tearing these ppl apart, sound like those rotten ppl who always ends a party with a fight.
First house, the room above the carport doesn't seem to have a bath for Oscar! Why the heck was this couple shown an apartment! A second floor apartment to boot. No private space for Oscar, no private garden/ I just don't understand the thinking of the people who run this show.

keep dreaming... make it real.
My god that last property was absolutely incredible. I could never afford it but I would adore it.
Trug making, what a Wonderfull craft! and these baskets not only look very handsome, they are also, super practical!
Thank you, this was a nice episode with Jules!🙂

Lol I'm watching this trying to figure out how to make a country house in the UK work for me 😂
Go for it.
Stay there we don’t like people from USA in the Uk
Same lol
I am always disappointed when the price is over their budget limit. I liked the first house as well and the price was right for them
It's so unfair and almost cruel when they show a house over-budget.
With a budget of 700,000 pounds, 2% more is not that much.
Liked house 1 and 2 - I think 2 was my favorite overall. Mystery was great but with no real private garden it wasn't something I'd be happy in.
House two gave Oscar his own sitting room and bathroom to.
I wish them all the best and God bless them 😊
Lovely companionship ❤❤❤😊😊
Can’t believe he is spending 700 k on a house with a lady he met 3 months ago and her son, this can only end in tears
Just remember she sold her house too, not just his? Frm:- SA
The music on this show reminds me of "Call the Midwife"
Lots of love to give ❤❤❤❤😊😊😊
Just met three months and not married, but buying a house together?? Its a DISASTER waiting to happen!!!
Agreed.

AMEN

Currently they don’t like the noise from Gatwick airport so Crawley is a bad place to look at
Love Jules
My favorite presenter
I hope like hell they're still together and still happy. Damn. Buying a home together after only 3 months is nuts. That's what lonliness can do.

Selling your house and moving in together after 3 months.... met on the internet... have heard a lot of crap like that. Be careful lady!!!!!
Amen to that!
Maybe the guy should also be careful?

A dining hall 🤣🤣🤣
It would be even nicer if the videos and the spoken words could be in sync..
Yep. Cart before the horse😢
How is the apartment below budget with a maintenance fee of over 2000 pounds
The prices are ridiculous
Is there a ensuite for her son in house no 1. If so it wasn't shown.
There wasn't but that can easily be added

What a drippy couple!

Tinacollins always complaining🤦♀️😵💫
You weren’t paying attention.
They indicated that the carport below could be converted to living room and bath.
A wet room can be added, it was the cheapest house out of the 3
👎👎👎 another glitch after 13 minutes.
Why do they need to discuss with Oscar he is obviously a free loader who should be buying his own place
I liked house 2 but oh well.
2015
Oscar should sleep in the garden
I hope they’re charging rent to that man moving “with” them. Just sayin.
She looks very old to have a teenage son , maybe he is from someone she only knew for 3 months
