Good work! Sub’d
Thanks for the sub!
I do the same and reuse old sneaker rubber nuggets to go over hook points and wire pin tips. I also sprinkle kosher salt inside before I seal it up. Cheers
Awesome video. What kind of vacuum sealer are you using?
It's the FoodSaver FM3920. It has a "moist" mode which helps with sealing. Thanks for subscribing..
Love it!
Question, does freezing the mono leader effect the leader strength out all? Are ballyhoo fresh or previously frozen and defrosted. We can’t get fresh in SC. Thanks I like the weedless rig and will try next trip.
I have not noticed any effect with freezing the mono. I'm also from SC and the Ballyhoo are frozen when I get them, defrosted and then refrozen. I only do that 1 time. I have had good luck with the single re-freeze process.
Okay - liked your video. Well done. May I ask, what kind of vacuum sealer do you use? Are you happy with it? Or would you recommend another? I live down in Baja Sur on the Sea of Cortez and extra ballyhoo after going out could certainly be stored as well as pre-rigged to save some time. Thank you.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video. It makes life easier sometimes pre-rigging.
I use the Foodsaver FM3920 2 in 1 Vacuum Sealer System with Quick Marinate Mode. I have had no issues other than the bag cutter is dull and does not cut the bags. I just use scissors now. I'm sure I could get a replacement. It has a moist mode that I use when things are slighlty wet and it helps during sealing.
Good luck and thanks for subscribing and watching...
@@GourmetFishing Thank you for the information. Next time we travel to the States I will bring one down and put it to work. Tight lines. God bless.
