I LOVE your videos, wondering if you could get models/friends that have more troubled skin. MOST of my brides/clients are severely dry with alot of redness or alot of textured skin. Would love to see a video on textured skin!
I'd love to see a video on how you troubleshoot makeup mistakes. What do you do when you apply too much brow powder on dark brows? How do you adjust lashes that have dried/aren't stuck down properly on the edges? How do you clean up a wing? etc. etc. :)
seaweedhag I bet Angie would use a makeup wipe and adjust where necessary if the brows get too dark. She works from top to bottom, so starting brows over really isn’t a big deal unless you’re crunched for time.
Goodness gracious that is beautiful. I've seen many a starlet on the red carpet in like a nude/blush dress where their makeup looks sooo washed out and equally "nude/pale", like you can barely even see their features or lips. So I love that you did this with blush tones but popping it, because the before/after especially in her eyes really pops.
Hi, Angie! I am a 14 year old girl that loves makeup. I just wanted to tell you how much you inspire me to try and work in the makeup industry when i grow up. I love your videos because you really now how to explain stuff and i really understand it. Thanks for doing what you do! 😊❤️
Angie . Thank you for all the details . I love the little notes popping out in the screen . And how you explain each step . Please never stop your videos . You are the closest thing I have to a beauty school !
So beautiful! Your tutorials are the best on YT for makeup artists, I love that your clients end up still looking like themselves but an enhanced version. 😍
I would love a video on how to create bushy or hairy brows on people with little to no brow hairs. I bet you’d be amazing showing the technique up closed.
Thank you for such detailed explanations. My clients have a lot more challenges in their skin than I ever see on videos or in workshops. Maybe you could do some of those in the future.
i absolutely love your videos. You include all the information I look for to las learn from someone that no other youtuber does. You are a gift from heaven! You and Goss are my most faves and are very similar. You use a lot of the same products and techniques. love love love you. Thank you so much!!!
So I recently discovered your channel and I've learned so much!! I low-key binged all your videos more than once 🙄🙄🙄 it's been hard to find makeup advice as a makeup artist. There's lots of gurus on RUclips but they only apply makeup on themselves. I've been wondering about different eye shapes lately. Ive been noticing this alot more recently, but when I meet a client and I don't know what to do with their eye shape, I just do something super basic. It turns out fine but I just get really disappointed in myself. So here I am, asking you if you'd be willing to make a video on eye shapes and what kind of eyeshadow shape looks good. If there are any tips for working with certain types. I've been really struggling with people who have deep set eyes or hooded eyes. You seem so knowledgeable because you have so much experience so I'm confident that I'm asking the right person!!
Hi Angie! I am so happy I found you. I found you by searching for tips to speed up application. I've been freelancing for almost 3 years. It's so much fun and I really enjoy making people feel beautiful. I've done some large bridal parties where I stayed on time and others where that wasn't the case. Thankfully, it didn't seem like an extra 20-30 minutes wasn't a big deal. I didn't get any angry reviews at least... Anyways, I've watched a few of your videos so far and I'm going to park my butt and watch as many as I can. Your channel truly seems like a treasure trove of the content I needed. I'm focusing right now speeding up my application. Also, I did a trial for a bride before her engagement photo shoot last month. I told her to message me at the end of the day if she was unhappy with anything at all. That way we can discuss and i'll make a note of it for the wedding day. On the same wedding Facebook group that she found me on, she posted about lash serums because her makeup artist glued lashes on and they were lifting after 5 hours. I used the Esquido Companion lash glue on her. I have been using that glue for years with no problem. I like it because it doesn't irritate my eyes. It was humid and in the 90s that day so I now see where I should have taken more precaution. I'm a little hurt that she would post that, she didn't name me, but you have to assume that I read the posts in that group. I even gave her a discounted rate because her initial MUA canceled on her and I agreed to their rate. I'm not going to bring it up to her of course. It just rubs me the wrong way I guess. I wish clients could speak more freely with us. I always try to be friendly and open. If I can tell their holding back saying something, I kinda pull it out of them. I never want to make them feel like I know it all and be intimidated. I definitely don't know it all, but trying my best! I know not every client is going to be 100% satisfied, but it just sucks sometimes..
Great video! you mentioned that you like using a black brown mascara on the lower lash line, what is the reason for this? I learn so much from your makeup application techniques :)
I find black sometimes just too dark on the lower lash line especially if my client has long/thick lower lashes. If the lower lashes are too pronounced I find it doesn't look right.
I absolutely love your work and makeup style Angie 😀 please could you recommend a nice good quality green corrector, like the one you used in your acne prone video? Thank you
The one I used from that video was a Make Up For Ever one, MAC makes a light ash green which is great for fair skin. Any of the pro brands will have correctors that work well, you'll have to experiment to see what mixes well with the foundations you have in your kit and what works with your application style.
Perfect, thank you for your reply. Thanks to your recommendations I use the Cinema Secrets and wow, that product is gorgeous!! Keep up the amazing work, you inspire a lot of us make up artists x x
Sorry to be asking so many questions, but can you tell us what inspires your work (other than makeup itself). I am a hairstylist and personally I turn to nature especially flowers for colours and textures and also art paintings and vintage movies 😀 thank you for sharing your experience and expertise with us!
I'm kind of all over the place with that! It really depends on what i'm interested in at the time. Sometimes it is a colour, sometimes I may have seen a movie or a painting - I get inspiration from all over!
Are you referring to using concealer as primer on the eyes? If so I find concealer as primer for eyeshadow not as effective as an eyeshadow primer - it can get cakey as well so I avoid it.
I hire additional artists when the total number of services for the bride and bridal party exceed 4-5 hours. I like to keep the prep time under 5 hours for my bridal parties. I book 1 hour for hair and 45 minutes for makeup.
I just buy my lip brushes form the art supply store - that's what you see me use in most of my videos, they are my favourite. I have a bunch of different ones but have no idea what brand they are from.
What brush did you use to apply the lipstick? It was a long handle that was gray colored, I would like to purchase one P.s. I absolutely LOVE ALL of your videos, there are extremely helpful and detailed. I've learned so much from you! Thanks for the great content you continue to put out! 🤗
Angie, I have makeup forever HD in my kit, which comes in yellows and reds. Would you consider this client a “Red” since she has pink (cool) undertones?
Angie!! Would you recommend the got 2b glue for every client in their brows?? I really want something to keep brows in place, at first I was thinking getting the anastasia clear brow gel but this glue seems nice and cheaper😬😂
Not necessarily - for certain brows I prefer more of a wax like the Anastasia Primer, and certain brows may need something with fibres to give a fuller look.
Love the video! I got so much out of it. I’d like to add Marc Jacobs eyeshadow palettes to my kit. Do you own them all? Which do you own? A friend of mine works for them so I’ll ask her to buy them for me! :)
Your videos are always so satisfying. 🙌 what is/are your favorite setting spray(s)? I use Ben Nye Final Seal in my pro kit, it works incredibly well but I’m hesitant to repurchase because of the strong fragrance in it. Any other recommendations?
I love all your videos. Have you done a video on makeup on young girls, 10 to 13 years old, for a special event (girls for First Holy Communion, bridal's sister, or Flower Girls)? How about on teenagers or Quinciañera-15 year old, or her maids? Quinciañera is a big event, almost like a wedding. If no makeup on young girls, face too pale in pictures ? I would think light makeup. What looks OK and when it's too much makeup on a young girl?
Beautiful! I wanted to ask about the brow shadows. I am thinking about buying the Anastasia pro brow powder palette but I notice you only have a select amount of shadows in a MUFE palette instead. Any reason why you do this instead of the pro palette? Is the pro palette too big?
I use my affiliate code and get 20% off the retail if there are certain styles I want to buy, they are also my client so i'm lucky enough to receive pairs for free. You can also use Kiss and Ardell Lashes if you like. I like to keep lashes from the Effortless Collection in my kit as a way to do makeup quickly if I am short on time, they are great for my more mature clients, and they are perfect for other things on camera when I need to get a fuller more natural lash. They are definitely handy to have.
Love this video (as per usual 😍🙌🏼) I’ve been wondering why you choose to start with foundation on forehead and then go to eyes...is there a reason why you don’t go eyes first and then foundation in one step? Hope that makes sense 😂 x
I like to be able to get foundation into the brows and across the eyelids and then do the brows and shadow. I find the finished look is much cleaner than trying to do the eyes first and then work around the eyes and brows. It's faster and looks better in my experience.
also. are you using velour lashes on your real life clients? how much extra do you charge for them- they are pretty pricey for the average bridesmaid, no?
I use them on my real clients! I also use Ardell and Kiss lashes as well. I don’t charge extra for lashes but I’ve been doing bridal for more than 15 years so based on my rates I’m comfortable offering a luxury lash to some of my brides and bridesmaids. You can charge extra if you want for luxury lashes or not use them at all. Totally up to you.
thanks! I am currently transitioning from mainly television work to more bridal due to a change in location where production work is slim, but destination bridal is huge, so I am just trying to figure out basically a whole new side of the business. your videos are super helpful.
Love your work, Angie! Just a quick question/suggestion. Do you think you could mention at the end of bridal videos what you would put in the clients touch-up kit? Just as a little example. Thank you x
I give everyone the same touch up kit - a full size lipstick from the drugstore or whatever shade i've used in a small container, a couple sponges, loose powder in a small container (usually RCMA), oil blotting sheets, kleenex, if I have them individual packages of gum/mints, a straw, hair pins (if i've done their hair) - I'll talk about this in more detail in a blog post for next week for everyone!
I LOVE your videos, wondering if you could get models/friends that have more troubled skin. MOST of my brides/clients are severely dry with alot of redness or alot of textured skin. Would love to see a video on textured skin!

Love the video Angie. It's very informative...please do some looks on women of colour
Angie posts.. DROP EVERYTHING!)
....not any of your makeup and/or coffee though!!! 😭
Angie Di Battista 👍👍😂
Please do a bridesmaid look for those that have to wear darker colored dresses such as red or navy. Thanks! Love your videos 😘
I have learnt more from your videos then I ever did throughout any training in beauty and makeup I've participated in. Thankyou so much
Angie, Im so sad I havent seen your videos on my feed anymore :( missed seeing your beautiful technique, it's so relaxing!!
Goodness gracious that is beautiful. Thanks angie for sharing these secrets with the rest of the world! You really will make the makeup industry grow :)

Thanks for watching Anca!
Yay Riley! Again as always love your video and your planning map before the application
Very Informative Video .Keep It Up 👍🏻👍🏻💞💞

LITERALLY WHEN I SAW THIS I WAS LIKE “YESSSS!!!!”
I have a bridal party on Oct 19!!
Love this, thanks for sharing Angie! LOVE your videos, the only RUclipsr I jump on as soon as I see a new video!! X
Holy... she’s looks gorgeous!😍
Thank you, this look is so lovely! I learned a few new things!
I love your videos. I’m fascinated with the “natural” make up you do!!!
I would love a video on how to create bushy or hairy brows on people with little to no brow hairs. I bet you’d be amazing showing the technique up closed.
Beautiful!

Loving your videos !! So glad I found your channel👌.
Could you please do a video on how to cover extremely dark under eye circles ? ❤
Thanks for sharing Angie! I always look forward to your videos. Keep doing what you do best.
Absolutely beautiful!
Absolutely beautiful! Great tips!
wow u r a true MASTER . much much Love 💖
Just beautiful! Gives me some great ideas for my next Bridal clients 🙌🏻
Love your videos! Very helpful

Yes! I will be coming back to RUclips soon!

Very pretty! What is the brush you’re using to apply the lip stick ?
It's just a brush I bought from an art supply store! You can find the best lip brushes there.
I loved this video it is awsome I will recreate this look!
Angie, may I ask why you don’t use concealer as a primer?
Are you referring to using concealer as primer on the eyes? If so I find concealer as primer for eyeshadow not as effective as an eyeshadow primer - it can get cakey as well so I avoid it.
Love it!!!
Im waiting for a hooded eyes makeup tutorial 💕
Me too! 😆
Thank you for the informative video 🙌🏼. When do you require an assistant when doing a bridal party? And how long do you take per client? Thank you.
I hire additional artists when the total number of services for the bride and bridal party exceed 4-5 hours. I like to keep the prep time under 5 hours for my bridal parties. I book 1 hour for hair and 45 minutes for makeup.
Angie, which is your favorite lipstick brush?

Angie Di Battista perfect, thanks for responding 🤗
what are your Anastasia brow powders de-potted into?
One of the old Make Up For Ever empty magnetic palettes.
hey angie have u tried the rcma pre foundation moisturizer if yes what do u think of it
It’s decent!
Angie, I have makeup forever HD in my kit, which comes in yellows and reds. Would you consider this client a “Red” since she has pink (cool) undertones?
I'm not familiar with the MUFE HD foundations - hopefully someone else can give you the correct info you are looking for.
Angie Di Battista Ok. Thanks for replying.
Perrrrfect😻😻😻😻
it's 4am here in the Philippines! 💓
😱 Go back to sleep!!!

I mostly use the Glambition palette quite honestly! But I also have the Scandalust palette as well.
Angie Di Battista awesome! Thanks for the reply!!! 💖
Your videos are always so satisfying. 🙌 what is/are your favorite setting spray(s)? I use Ben Nye Final Seal in my pro kit, it works incredibly well but I’m hesitant to repurchase because of the strong fragrance in it. Any other recommendations?
I only use Urban Decay/Skindinavia/ Cinema Secrets! Those work well for me.
I love all your videos. Have you done a video on makeup on young girls,

I’ll be discussing this in a blog post in the future. I very rarely do makeup on kids under 15/16.
Amazing as always ❤️ if you were to do this during a job, how long would this look take you?
Probably 30 minutes for something like this! Less if I needed to work faster.
Beautiful! I wanted to ask about the brow shadows. I am thinking about buying the Anastasia pro brow powder palette but I notice you only have a select amount of shadows in a MUFE palette instead. Any reason why you do this instead of the pro palette? Is the pro palette too big?
Pro Palette is too big and it is not made well so I threw my most used shades in the MUFE palette.
love love love
How much do you pay for those lashes? I would love to use a lux lash on my clients but they are so expensive!
I use my affiliate code and get 20% off the retail if there are certain styles I want to buy, they are also my client so i'm lucky enough to receive pairs for free.
