Ah this is one of my favorites! Love the peaceful sounds, the fireplace crackling, the soft music, pages turning...and all are balanced together nicely. And the colors in this scene just make me happy 😊 For an added bonus sit next to an open window as it rains outside, while listening to this masterpiece...
This is so delightful in many levels. It also brings to mind two different experiences in Yorkshire for me. The first was in a museum that recreated a room filled with very old books, and it had a window that overlooked the cobbled street and stone built houses. Right up against the window on the ledge outside was a birds nest filled with eggs and a mother bird who came and went without a care. She combination of old worn, patina of the books, the old ink pots and the bird’s nest was just so overwhelming and charming. The second experience was I’d decided to hop in a train and get off at a village that looked interesting. The train ran through thr pennines, and the old dry stone walls and sheep filled pastures. I got off at an old village that had been there many years and came across a bookshop. The bookshop seemed very unassuming from the front but inside you were led down old wood stairs and into a room filled with books. Books on shelves, stacked in piles on every surface and in the seat of an old leather armchair. You know the one, big, rolled arms, old leather and that faced a roaring fire in the old stone lintel fireplace. I was in heaven. I found such interesting books about the area, and the stories of people who lived there. One was about Hannah Hauxwell. I highly recommend it. Reading that book took me down another rabbit hole for sure, and led to many more adventures.
Reading of your Yorkshire experiences has taken me back to some happy times of my own in that lovely part of the world, thankyou for the memory nudge, I hope you're still finding beautiful places and creating the things that dreams are built upon.

This is really nice. The music and sounds are great matches for a bookstore, and the image is gorgeous. It really does look like a "The Forest Witch Bookshop". This is also the first ambiance video I've seen that wasn't a static image. Seeing that book levitate among magic sparkles was a pleasant surprise.

The same in here. It literally got me through 3 very stressful uni terms now and I just keep playing this on a loop. No other sound combination has worked this well for me. 2 more projects to finish and then freedom!!! I made a little wow in my head that after I graduate, at least 10% of my first paycheck will go to the creator of this video for getting me through my course :D (await an update in about 8-9 months from now :D)

Of course, I have my own opinion of the magical bookshop. The only issue (minor only) that I would have is that all of the books seem to be old and there are many new books that would be on her shelves. I love the cat and the occasional fly-bys of birds. I think all well-read people have their own personal inner libraries similar to this. Thank you for this presentation of the inner witch in some of us.
