I think he’s so much better than what we could ever get for him in a trade. However, I don’t think his timeline now fits our timeline. From what I heard from Cronin he just made it seem like next year is another development year. Ant doesn’t deserve this, he should be challenging for trophies

younger then ayton… but ayton fits are timeline? simons fits perfect just cause there’s two other 20 yr old guards don’t mean you get rid of the best one rn that being simons

It’s a tad early to say that if he was so good he would have made us more competitive

    • @RexDoodis

They both fit our timeline. But we need length more than we need another undersized 2 guard. If Simons were the point guard of the future, that would be perfect. But he isn't. So, if he stays, he could be a backup point guard behind Scoot or a backup 2 guard behind Shaedon. He's basically CJ only later to develop. We can keep him if he's okay coming off the bench behind players who fit better. He is seven years in the association and still not at an all-star level. He's probably a decent backup on a contender. So, Ayton is a better fit for the future.

@@GeneralProspecterteams just send doubles to him 90% of the time because we have no other offensive threats. He could drop 30 every night with ease if others get better and become threats
